Rear tuning for the Lada Vesta bumper involves installing Xmug, there is the same bumper in front, together they look harmonious. Recently, sedans from VAZ have begun to please with their appearance - Vesta is direct proof. Perhaps the brightest and most anticipated new product of AvtoVAZ 2022 will be Lada Xcode. Vesta SW is the car that Russian drivers have been waiting for so long. But initially it turned out to have quite a lot of problem areas and shortcomings. Naturally, taking radical measures, the automaker corrected most of them. But the drivers themselves have something to work on.

There are some nuances that you will have to work on yourself:

But how necessary this is is for everyone to decide for themselves. The fuel filler door does not lock and there is no protection in the filler neck. In the rear door, water penetrates into the wiring harness block in the area of ​​the hole for the guide strip. You will have to remove the cover, use a rag or soft washer and mastic around the guide. Then everything is installed in place.

Another feature of the model is that all modifications have ABS, but not all have a button to turn it off. When overcoming mud or deep snow, the electronics will simply “strangle” the engine, and as a result the car will get stuck. In this case, there is only one solution - temporarily disable the system. Developers and designers presented a muscular car, which was created under the influence of the X-Face concept, which is actively used for the entire range of Lada cars.

Particularly noteworthy are the X-shaped stampings on the side of the Niva 2022, enlarged wheels and the presence of a large number of LEDs in both the front and rear optics.

The goal of the creators was to make the crossover visually three-door, but in fact it has five functional doors. The handles of the second door are originally hidden in the surface of the doors to create a visual absence of unnecessary elements.

This specificity is planned to be preserved in the production version of the Niva for the 2020 model year (Lada 4×4).

The design decision to modernize the new body was implemented carefully and competently: the distinctive features of the Niva remained, harmoniously combined with the modern body.

The date for the start of mass production and the cost of the Niva 2022 have not yet been announced. If the developers are able to fully implement design and technical solutions regarding the gearbox, then the modernized Lada 4x4 will be more expensive than the latest generation Duster. But if the crossover competes with Renault, this will not provoke significant dumping.

The launch of mass production is planned for 2020-2021, and the cost of the new Niva will be twice as expensive as the standard version of the current generation Lada 4x4. Therefore, the car will say goodbye to the image of a budget all-terrain vehicle with the release of a new generation.

In the car's operating instructions, the manufacturer indicates that the front suspension of the Lada Vesta is independent and equipped with shock absorber struts (gas-filled). They are hydraulic, with a double-acting telescopic design. These struts consist of shock absorbers and coil springs (barrel-shaped), and the suspension kit, in addition to them, includes lower wishbones and anti-roll bars, this entire structure is mounted on a subframe.

The originality of the Lada Vesta suspension is due to a completely new approach to the problem of driving on domestic roads and creating a competitive car. Engineers tried to implement the most optimal technical solutions in the front suspension of the car.

A subframe was added, on which the motor support points (two) were located. It was decided to leave the MacPherson struts, since they are considered the most popular in the world. But the main feature of the new “West” suspension, the designers believe, is that, in contrast to the longitudinal extension of the “eight” and its wishbone, the manufacturer began to install an L-shaped lever with a caster angle of 5°. It bears all the main loads (longitudinal as well as transverse).

All these engineering innovations have led to excellent results:

  • Driving on straight sections of roads has become noticeably more confident, and steering sensitivity has increased significantly. It has now become much easier to determine what position the front wheels are in;
  • When cornering, when you “play” with the brake or gas pedal, you no longer feel wobbling, shaking, etc. Previous Lada car models were “sinful” of this;
  • If, when cornering, you encounter a washboard-type section or worse, vibrations are almost not felt, and the steering wheel does not jump out of your hands.

The AvtoVAZ manual contains the following information: The front suspension is independent, with telescopic hydraulic gas-filled double-acting shock absorbers, with coil springs mounted on the front suspension struts, lower wishbones and a stabilizer bar mounted on the subframe.

It is quite obvious that many owners are interested in how firmware changes affect engine life, whether the warranty on the new car is still valid, etc. First of all, you need to understand that the chipped engine of the Lada Vesta and any other car will have a shorter lifespan compared to the stock version.

Some car enthusiasts practice a method of saving the factory program, which is “poured” back into the ECU of a warranty vehicle if problems begin with the engine or gearbox. However, this method also does not always work.

You also need to take into account that the factory firmware was tested by specialists in the factory; the internal combustion engine with such software was tested in a variety of conditions. As for alternative firmware, in any case it will be an individual modification of the standard program.

Large tuning studios, in the process of creating firmware, necessarily “test” the program by installing the car on special stands, reading various data, monitoring the operation of the engine in all modes, etc. Often the engine of test samples is even disassembled and its condition is visually assessed.

Also, often after chipping, an additional “break-in” is practiced online, that is, correction occurs directly while driving in real time. Such studios provide a guarantee, and such chip tuning itself can be considered safe. The only thing that makes sense is that the price of reflashing the ECU will be quite high.

Given the high cost of chipping, professionals, as a rule, will always have more affordable offers. At the same time, you need to be prepared for the fact that such firmware is “no name”, that is, without indicating the author of the assembly, in this case no one tests or tests it. There are also no guarantees.

In practice, large studios usually warn about possible risks for the car owner, small organizations can only partially address this issue, chipmakers from the garage will simply “upload” unknown software at their own peril and risk. It’s good if garage craftsmen carry out additional running-in and calibration, since many do not even do this. Moreover, in the latter case, the warranty ends when the car leaves the garage.

As a rule, after using programs that are freely available, there are frequent cases of increased fuel consumption, floating speed, rapid failure of the catalyst, etc. Sometimes, in order to increase power, non-professionals “drive” the engine into operating mode only on rich mixtures and shift the OZ so that the engine operates on the verge of detonation.

It also happens the other way around, when the customizer practically does not change important parameters in order to protect himself from possible risks. However, the result of such chip-tuning is almost invisible, although you still have to pay for the service.

Materials for car seat covers

There are a wide variety of materials for sewing covers. Let's look at the most popular of them:

Genuine Leather. This is a very beautiful, durable and, frankly speaking, not a cheap solution. Natural leather requires proper care, otherwise it will simply lose its attractiveness.

Faux leather.

Pressed leather. This material is made from waste particles of real leather - they are crushed and then pressed. The material looks beautiful, it is very durable, allows the skin to “breathe”, and has an affordable price.

Ecological leather. In fact, this is the name for a type of polyurethane based on cotton.

The material is environmentally friendly, it attracts attention, and is pleasant to touch. Good air permeability.

PVC (fabric is used as the base)

It is also aesthetically pleasing in appearance, but its strength and durability leave much to be desired. It has poor air permeability and almost does not absorb water.

Jacquard. Expensive, aesthetic material, made of natural fabric (sometimes with the addition of synthetics). Has great strength.

Velours. Looks beautiful, inexpensive, very durable. Unfortunately, the fabric hardly stretches, which is why it quickly loses its attractive appearance. The market offers a large number of colors of this fabric.

Polyester. Very high wear resistance, easy to maintain, but does not allow air to pass through well.

Plush. Beautiful material, contains lint. The plush is pleasant to touch, but wears out quickly.

In addition to what was discussed above, hybrid covers are also produced - custom tailoring is used, where all the parameters of the desired fabric will be taken into account, as well as the functioning features of various parts of the chair.
