VAZ-2110 is a middle-class passenger car produced by a Russian automobile company. The car debuted in 1995 as the successor to the famous Samara, although it was produced until 2015. The car appeared on the domestic market as the VAZ 2110, and only after 2004 was introduced in Russia as the Lada 110.

The Russian sedan Lada Priora (2170) is another hope for success in the domestic market. Where to start checking

If the voltage on the VAZ 2107 battery is still below normal, it is necessary to measure it at the output of the generator with the engine running. Replace it with an identical one and double check. If the fuse blows again, you need to look for the cause, that is, a short circuit. 3) If the generator is running but the battery is gradually draining, we will do another check. We start the engine, turn on the heater fan and low beam, turn the key to “10” and, loosening the negative terminal of the battery, remove it. The engine should not stall at idle (approximately 900 rpm). If the engine stops, replace the terminal and start again. Maintaining a speed of 1200-1500, remove the terminal again. Has the engine stopped again? Then turn off the headlights, leave the heater fan on, and repeat the test. The engine now continues to run with the negative pole disconnected from the battery. The generator output works, but does not provide the required current, it needs to be repaired.

Note! With such control, it is better and safer to work together. Do not disconnect the battery terminal without at least turning on the heater fan or other load. A power surge during shutdown can “burn out” the electronic components of ignition systems. Be especially careful when using a vehicle with a fuel-injected engine.
