• from the edge of the driver's brush to the left body pillar - 280 mm.

Based on these readings, you can install longer blades, which will increase the cleaning area of ​​the windshield. For example, replace the driver's 600 mm brush with 610 mm, or the passenger's 450 mm with 480 mm.

Preparatory stage

During the preparation stage, no tools will be required, with the exception of a new windshield wiper. If deformation of the driver is detected due to an impact or collision, then use an open-end wrench set to “17” to unscrew the fastening nut.

To replace the brush:

1. We press the latch on the leash.
2. We remove the brush body from the hook.
3. We put on a new “windshield wiper”.

By analogy, we replace the brush on the right side, at the rear, if the body of the Lada Vesta is a station wagon or hatchback.

Trunk volume

Trunk capacity is an important parameter of any car, and Lada Vesta is no exception. After all, you almost certainly need a vehicle not only for driving around the city. Sooner or later you will need to transport some things. Vesta's trunk volume is 620 liters. The height and length of the luggage compartment in normal condition are 573 mm and 962 mm, respectively. But the dimensions of the luggage compartment of the Lada Vesta SV are more modest. In the passenger version the volume is 480 liters, and in the cargo version – 825 liters.

How to remove the front wiper

1. Raise the left leash.

Experience using different wiper blades

Today I would like to touch on this important topic, namely about famous brands of brushes!
Based on my experience of using various brushes, I finally chose the ideal option for myself, this applies specifically to Vesta! Major brands, not including cheap bills!

There’s no point in talking about the standard brushes, they’re just crap, leaving the showroom they scratched the windshield!

Initially I installed Hyner hybrid

standard sizes for 1k, which in my opinion is not cheap. The quality is not bad, but they are not suitable for a Vesta, they do not wipe the left driver's corner at speed, and in general the pressure is very poor due to the design of the brush, they do not fit a Vesta's forehead!

Next I bought LYNX LW600 and LYNX LW450

winter ones, I drove with them all winter, they are convenient of course (the only plus), but they also have very significant jambs, poor pressure, they don’t clean the driver’s corner and squeak terribly, which infuriates the most, because it’s unbearable, in general, it’s also in the trash!

Conclusion: 1. Standard trash 2. Hyner Hybrid for Vesta trash 3. LynX winter are only convenient in winter because of the cover, all other parameters are trash 4. Bosch aerotwin is an ideal option for Vesta in my opinion! 5. Options like those from Lenta, for example Phantom (with their not cheap price of 800 rubles), after a week or two they begin to blur and creak, they are definitely a garbage dump!

The main disadvantage of the standard Lada Vesta windshield wiper blades is that the size is insufficient to optimal condition. The wipers work fine under normal conditions. With the onset of cold weather, drivers experience minor problems with cleaning their windows. The quality of the rubber requires better performance, since the wipers do not fit tightly to the glass.

When it rains, due to the lack of windshields, water flows from the front window onto the glazing of the driver's door, limiting lateral visibility.

Frameless brushes have disadvantages such as high price and short service life.

How to replace windshield wipers

The multifunction switch is switched to the “wiper replacement” mode - to the lowest position. The wipers stop in a vertical position. It is possible to stop them in this position by simply turning the ignition. Moving the brushes away from the glass, place a cloth under them so that when lowering the leash it does not hit the glass.
