  3. Remove sixteen pan mounting bolts.

  5. Remove the oil filter.
  6. Clean the filter element.
  7. Reassemble the pallet in the same sequence and put it in place.
  8. Pour 1.5 liters of transmission fluid into the place where the dipstick is inserted.
  9. Insert the dipstick. Start the engine.
  10. Drive the car until the oil warms up to 80 degrees Celsius.
  11. Drive onto a level area and check the level.

Review of the Lada Granta car (2018)

How did I come to buy a Lada Granta? I was looking for a car that was a) new, b) inexpensive (up to one million rubles), c) interesting in appearance. Now, of course, many people said that for a million you can get a used BMW, Audi and much more, but I wanted a new car.

This budget included, first of all, Rio Solaris, but then logic came into play. Or stinginess. To be honest, the toad is choking me to pay more than 650 thousand rubles for a Solaris or Rio with air conditioning, music and heating of the fifth point.

So I was brought into the Lada salon. I didn’t really follow the news, and I even knew that the updated Granta was going on sale on September 1st. After talking with the manager, I found out that there are now discounts on the Grant and it can be purchased in the Lux configuration for 500 thousand, but this is still in the old body. And then I caught fire! 500 thousand, new. We started looking on the Internet for other options for discount promotions, and found out that Granta-Restyle was coming out! Back to the car showroom, Granta with a new body is not for sale yet (it was August 30), but you can already see the car in the warehouse. From a distance I thought it was Vesta, but as I got closer I saw the differences.

I decided to take this particular car – coriander color, Comfort equipment. I made a deposit of 5 thousand, I’m waiting for sales to start. On September 1, I was ready to pick up the car (the title was available), but it turned out that the factory had put it on some kind of stop list and the dealer couldn’t do anything. They said - wait. In frustrated feelings, I headed towards the house without a car, calling all the car dealerships in Samara on the way home. I got through to the dealer in Almaatinka and he told me, they say, come and have a car, the title will be available tomorrow! My happiness knew no bounds. I arrived, booked, and with a happy face, on September 5 I became the proud owner of a Lada Granta FL sedan, 16-valve 106 hp engine. With. The car cost 549,500 rubles.

  1. Ravon R4. For the same money you can buy a second version of the Uzbek Ravon with good contents. The 1.5 engine is very simple and practical, the 6-speed gearbox will also not let you down. The car will become a real competitor for the Grant, given the price equality.
  2. FAW Besturn B50. It may be an outdated car, but it still competes with cars in the lower classes. FAW has good build quality and some pretty enviable technology on board. The 1.6 engine with 103 horsepower is also not bad.
  3. Datsun on-DO. This is the same Granta, slightly modified by Japanese engineers. The machine is not bad, but it is in dire need of updating. The outdated design and 87 horsepower engine take this car a little away from the competitive environment for the Granta.
  4. Changan Eado. Another Chinese who can slightly interrupt AvtoVAZ's trade. This car was well received in our market, thanks to its excellent 113 horsepower engine and quite presentable Japanese automatic. And the sales of the car itself are very good.

These are the rivals on the market in the same price class as the domestic Granta. The question remains about why it is more profitable for Uzbeks to produce a car even a little larger, transport it to our region and sell it even cheaper than AvtoVAZ does with a car of a lower class. It is Ravon who should be considered as the main rival who is worth your attention. It is superior to Granta in many ways, but at the same time costs the same money.

No need for dirt

The angle of the rear part of the body was carefully worked out from an aerodynamic point of view. At the same time, VAZ designers assure that the sloping rear window in rainy weather is perfectly cleaned by air flows. That is why the basic “Standard” configuration does not have a rear windshield wiper. However, it is installed on cars in the “Norma” and “Lux” versions. Perhaps just to justify their higher cost?
