There is very little room for feet in the Priors. In the old one, when I pressed the gas, I often touched the brake pedal. Because of this, you have to move your leg to the right and turn your foot out.

I don’t even want to think about what will happen to my leg in the event of an accident. It is better to sit in the updated car due to the fact that the distance between the gas and brake pedals has been increased by about 7 mm (up to 47 mm).

Of course, the dimensions of the car have not changed. The overall length of the five-door Priora is 4,210 mm (wheelbase - 2,492 mm), width - 1,680 mm, height - 1,435 mm, ground clearance (clearance) is 165 mm.

Thus, compared to the sedan, the Priora hatchback is 140 mm shorter and 15 mm higher. The trunk volume of the five-door is 70 liters less (360 liters versus 430 on the sedan). But if you fold the back of the rear sofa, its volume increases to a decent 705 liters.

Interior

Inside, the Lada Priora has a modern and attractive interior, although the build quality and finishing materials still require the best. There is a massive 3-spoke steering wheel, decorated with the company's nameplate. Behind the steering wheel there is a dashboard with 2 shallow “wells” and a monochrome screen located between them, displaying information from the trip computer. Visually everything looks good, but readability suffers.

The center console has a 7-inch multimedia system screen, which has touch control. Below it are two deflectors of the ventilation system, which have a rectangular appearance and a neat music control unit. Next comes the climate system settings panel, which is represented by 3 round controls.

During the assembly of the interior of the updated Lada Priora, inexpensive, mostly hard plastic was used. The center console is finished in black lacquer, and the seats are upholstered in fabric. As for the assembly of the sedan itself, no questions arise, but noticeable joints can be seen between individual elements. Top modifications will receive an advanced multimedia system (CD, MP3, USB and Bluetooth). Optionally, you can install a navigation system that recognizes GPS and GLONASS signals.

Inside, there are wide front “Prior” seats, which have an optimal cushion length and are almost deprived of lateral support. They can only be adjusted in the longitudinal direction over fairly large ranges. The designers also provided for the function of three-stage heated seats. The sofa located at the back was configured for 2 passengers, so a third person would be clearly uncomfortable.

This is clearly visible from the protruding transmission tunnel and only two headrests. There is plenty of free space above your head, but not enough in front of your feet. A central armrest is offered as a convenience. The luggage compartment of the updated Lada Priora sedan has 430 liters of usable space.

It’s a shame, but there is no provision for increasing the volume – there is only a folding central section, but the backrest cannot be folded. A full-size spare tire is placed under the trunk floor, but wheel arch extensions and open luggage compartment lid hinges slightly reduce the resource for transporting luggage.
