All doors are equipped with metal bars to improve resistance to side impacts. All glass is curved, polished, safety type. The windshield is three-layer, the rest are tempered. Rear window - with heating element. The windshield, rear and rear side windows are glued into the body openings and are part of its power circuit. Door glass is sliding. Depending on the configuration, the door glass can be driven by either mechanical or electric window lifters. Adjusting the headrest

Lately, I have often caught myself thinking that it feels as if the car is narrow and fits into those cracks where in previous cars I would not have dared to poke my head. Sometimes in traffic jams, sometimes in courtyards I drive around in very narrow places, I park in narrow places. Good sense of size.
I decided to check the characteristics, although I already remembered that the grant was about 1.7 m wide, and the previous focus was about the same width (according to the characteristics), but it felt: the focus seemed wider both in terms of space in the cabin and in terms of the space occupied on the road!

1) It was not in vain that I brought the track, because... I think the fear of catching a curb with our wheels, for example, sometimes makes us retreat from getting into a narrow place where we can already try to drive on a Grant. And it is clear that the track on the grant is relatively narrow - perhaps it also gives this feeling of “narrowness”, i.e. the ability to drive through a relatively narrow part of the road.
2) the next factor influencing the feeling of width, I think, can be called visibility, a short hood, and even visually beveled at the edges - this makes the car seem even narrower than it is!
