Passenger seats
Thanks to an almost three-meter wheelbase and a roof raised by 10 centimeters, it is quite comfortable here even if you are taller than average. There is reserve both in the legs and above the head.
There are a number of oddities worth noting. The back row is divided into three separate seats, but it’s not very comfortable for three people there. There are no cup holders or niches in the doors in the interior. But there is a mezzanine of dubious purpose, which, although large and, it feels, strong, is deprived of even a mesh that would hold something there. There is an ISO-fix mount for child seats.
The air duct was installed at the feet of second-row passengers, which allows for faster heating of the cabin in the cold season. But with the windows closed and the air conditioning turned off, the car quickly becomes stuffy.
If we talk about ergonomics and the interior as a whole, then there are convenient pipe air ducts, good placement of door lock buttons, and power windows. But the main thing is the horn, which is activated using a button located on top of the turn signal handle. Several convenient glove compartments, some with lighting. Overall, the interior looks and feels pretty decent.
Trunk
The main thing in Lada Largus is the trunk. One of the main features of the car is its hinged doors. Not like a station wagon where they go up. Swing doors are fixed in three positions. The most interesting thing is the last position, when the door opens completely. Therefore, for loading, you can drive up close to the gate or any other unloading point.
Perfectly flat floor. Seven hooks that can be used to secure any cargo anywhere in the trunk. The width along the arches is 960 millimeters, the length is just over 2 meters. The rear partition is also curved and absorbs part of the length at the top. Load capacity - 800 kilograms.
The rear wall is removed, the trunk increases in length even more (up to about 2.5 meters). The car does not have roof rails in any configuration. But there are holes for them, so you can buy more. The car has a long wheelbase, it is longer than a regular Logan.
The salon is the same Logan. There are power window buttons on the dashboard. The horn is on the side of the turn signals.
Driving performance
Engineers have strengthened the already “indestructible” suspension from Logan. The driver's seat is from the same car. Except that there is an order of magnitude more space above your head. The steering wheel is only adjustable for tilt. The chair is equipped with a pneumatic lift. There is even a lumbar bolster, but everything is adjusted using thumbwheels, which is not very convenient. The driving experience is somewhat mixed.
The first thing that immediately caught my eye was the lack of visibility in the mirrors. The side ones are just too small for such a car. And the rear view is hampered by the split tailgate with a pillar in the middle. Yes, and heating with a wiper is present only on one of the two glasses.
On the other hand, due to the long wheelbase, the car stands confidently on the road and handles quite adequately. And it absorbs road unevenness quite well.
In terms of Largus dynamics, “there are not enough stars in the sky.”
With a 16-valve, 1.6-liter engine from Renault and a strong aspirated engine, acceleration to hundreds takes about 13 seconds. But it feels like there is enough of this in the city. Moreover, the car accelerates very quickly.
At a speed of 100-110 km/h in fifth gear, the engine spins up to 3300-3500 rpm. Simply put, it starts to make a lot of noise. And this gets tiring on long hauls.
The gearbox itself shifts clearly and has a short stroke. It is also European: in a simpler version it comes with an 8-valve engine with 85 horsepower. There are no diesel engines in the lineup. But it would be more relevant, since the car is designed to transport goods.
Fuel consumption in the city is 9-11 liters per 100 km, taking into account the use of air conditioning. On the highway you can count on 7.5 liters.
Ground clearance - 175 mm standard, 145 mm with maximum permissible load. In terms of safety, it fully complies with European standards. The most likely injury in a frontal impact is damage to the feet due to displacement of the pedal assembly, and in a side impact the chest experiences excessive stress.

Renault Logan MCV
For the Russian Federation, Largus is simply an excellent car, since 72% of its parts are produced in Russia and therefore its cost is extremely low. However, it is worth noting that so far only the 60% level has been achieved - AvtoVAZ has not yet mastered the production of some electronic parts.
Otherwise, Largus and its platform comrades have a chance to become real people's cars.
For other countries it all depends on duties. Belarusians have already liked Largus, but for Ukraine, which recently raised duties on trade with Russia to the skies, Logan will cost no less.
Other CIS countries that traditionally consume AvtoVAZ products also face a choice - Logan or Largus, and decide depending on the price and condition of local roads.
So did Largus manage to return glory to AvtoVAZ? Yes and no. The machine has a lot of shortcomings, but for such a price you can not notice them, because they are quite minor and are covered by advantages.
