Hello everyone, a little over a year ago it all started with the fact that I was not satisfied with the standard suspension on my car, like many, I changed my original struts (165mm) which had served 90,000 km properly with struts from an American Lancer GTS with a 2.4 engine under 18 wheels article numbers front 339082 and rear 339083 341425 (2 pieces) And I immediately decided to change the springs at the same time since the car’s ground clearance was also not satisfactory. The choice was not great - eibach -30 price is about 15,000 rubles, H&R and Tein were not considered due to the even higher price. And at this time, technospring springs were being tested on the Lancer X, and I began to actively monitor this process because after talking with people they said that the quality was good and the price was low. And after weighing all this, I decided to save money by ordering technospring springs -50 costing ( 5500r). Before purchasing, I consulted for a long time with a representative of Technosprings, Alexander, who tested the springs on his Lancer. They told me that everything would be fine. As you can see in the photo, the support bearings were broken and one left cup of the front shock absorber was sheared off. It’s not difficult to guess why a creaking sound appeared when turning the steering wheel and the car became even stiffer like a cart) All because of the springs with a lowering of -50, the suspension was not working correctly. at the time of installation of the Technospring -50 springs, the support bearings and cup were intact) You draw your own conclusions!

After some time, my car was put in order both outside and on the chassis. Having bought an original or a good analogue, it will serve you much longer than a cheap analogue, you don’t know how long it will last and how it will last, and in the end you will change it earlier and spend more money, and adding up this money it will be more expensive than you originally installed the original or a good substitute. The same situation applies to springs. In this post I do not advertise eibach products, I made a comparison of two spring companies. Decide for yourself whether you will save roughly 10,000 rubles and install technospring springs -50, which only give rough appearance and damage to the suspension, or install good German eibach pro-kit-30 springs, which have proven themselves in Russia and have passed the test and serious inspection for our car after all after all, it’s a global brand and these springs will greatly improve the handling of your car without damaging the suspension and you’ll get an optimal lowering of -30mm. This was a lesson for me and I concluded that this time, do not install springs with the wrong lowering on standard struts. Don't skimp on your car and love it!

Understated. The racks around the SAAZ are ten-size, with shortened rods. In front there are TechnoRessor -90 springs, SS20 queen support springs (with a lowering of 1 cm), at the rear I cut off the original springs by 3 turns. The struts were pumped up for stiffness, because... the rod stroke is short. Bottom line, the car is a bouncer, it’s very rough, I feel every bump, a small wave - me and the sub in the trunk are bouncing.

On the original struts, put -30 in the rear, -70 in the front, it will lie flat. At first I set everything to -30, the rear was as it should be, the front was generally as it was, then I changed the front ones to -50 and still 2 cm higher than the rear.

The Demfi struts themselves are a bit harsh. I have a KX -90, the springs are TechnoRessor -90 and two more coils have been sawn off at the back. I drive and rejoice, low and soft.
