It is expressed in the difference between the height of the right fastener and the left. Plus, these fasteners are designed for standard seats; any other seats, in theory, should be very high relative to standard ones. I was not very happy with this arrangement. Together with a friend, we decided to cut out the old fasteners and fit the new seats in place. Everything that would be in the way was removed, including the old seats. In principle, when destroying old fasteners, the presence of an angle grinder is not at all necessary. The metal there is thin, so it can be cut well with a chisel. The fasteners were cut off. Then there was a very long and tedious brainstorming session on the topic “how to do everything right.” We decided to weld two 12mm bolts as rear fasteners. After much work by my friend, the first fastener was made. We didn’t have time to do anything that day, so we decided to postpone the matter until another day. On the morning of the second day, after a long night of thinking about how to do it right, we continued our work. The fact is that the rear seat fasteners, in principle, only bear the pressure load, that is, there should be enough bolts. But the front fasteners will also experience lifting (due to the rocking effect of the seats) and tearing load, which is not good for the thin metal of the bottom. It was decided to strengthen this metal with 2mm thick galvanized iron plates. After going to the store, purchasing the necessary items and several hours of work, the first fastener was completely finished.
The front fastener is made with a through bolt through the bottom and a 2mm plate. The bolts have reinforced washers, so I think the safety margin is enough for these seats. The idea of such fasteners is that it is possible to adjust the height of the seats, although the adjustment range is about 8mm. In principle, this is enough to correctly position the seats. Next, the second fastener was made according to the same scheme. After a few hours, all the work was completed, we decided to paint over the affected areas with paint so that they would not become covered with rust.
Everything turned out very cool, smooth and tough. The mount holds everything perfectly and everything is adjustable perfectly. Result:
