All representatives of the new Lada Granta line received a unified front design in the style of Vesta and X-ray. In addition to the modernized bumper, radiator grille and headlights, the nose of the Grant acquired a slightly adjusted hood and different shaped wings. Small class passenger car. Its venerable age (debut in 2011) does not prevent Granta from remaining the main bestseller of AvtoVAZ and the entire Russian automobile market for many years. In our country, only Granta has sold more than 1 million copies over the past decade. The key to success is the high energy intensity of the suspension and the price tag corresponding to the income level of the majority of the population.

Body type: Granta is a unique car due to the variety of “clothing” styles. The five-seater model is offered in sedan, five-door hatchback, liftback and station wagon body styles. After restyling in 2022, sound insulation has been noticeably improved.

Design: After restyling in 2022, the model received a more expressive front end in the new one. In addition, in the sedan, the relocation of the rear license plate niche from the bumper to the trunk lid visually lightened the stern. In the cabin, the design of the front panel and instrument cluster has been retouched, and the updated display between them has become more informative.

Power unit: The model is equipped with 1.6-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engines. The deeply modernized 8-valve version, registered under the Granta hood in 2022, is boosted to 90 hp. and is combined with manual transmission5. The same gearbox works in tandem with a 106-horsepower 16-valve engine (not available for the hatchback), and its 98-horsepower version is paired with a 4-band classic automatic transmission from the Japanese company Jatco. The general fuel standard is 95 gasoline.

Chassis: It is based on the Gamma platform, which debuted on the VAZ-2108, with independent suspension without a subframe at the front and semi-independent rear suspension. Electric power steering is standard equipment on the hatchback, while variants with other body types receive electric power steering, starting from the second trim level. During the 2022 restyling, the settings of the shock absorbers and power steering were changed, which improved handling. In Russian road conditions, the trump card of Granta with 90- and 106-horsepower engines is a solid ground clearance of 180 mm (165 mm for the 98-horsepower version with automatic transmission). The stabilization system is an option available only for the sedan and liftback in the top configuration.

Multimedia: For the model in the “senior” configuration levels, a multimedia system with a 7-inch touchscreen, voice control and built-in Yandex.Auto services is available. Support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto interfaces is provided.
