The public got acquainted with the photo and prototype of the future Lada Vesta SV station wagon with the Cross prefix in Moscow at the end of the summer of 2015. Serial production of the model started in early autumn 2017.

But the universal Vesta is not only good for its capacity.
The highlight of the trunk is the double floor, divided into two sections. Each section is a spacious organizer (gray foam tray) for small items and a hard lid. The trays are the same size, and so are the lids. Therefore, they can be swapped, placed on top of each other or vertically, or removed altogether, configuring the trunk at your discretion. The underground capacity is 95 liters.
I liked the lids the most: tough, durable. If you put one of these on two boxes, you will get a comfortable bench for a picnic.
Under the organizers there is another floor, but this one is soft. Underneath is a full-fledged spare wheel with a diameter of 15 inches. The trunk lighting consists of a pair of lamps (one each on the left and right) integrated into the side panels of the trunk. Just in case, a 12-volt outlet was provided on the right panel.
There are hooks on the sides for securing bags and packages. In addition, there are loops on which three standard nets are hung: a large square one for securing the load on the floor, a transverse mesh bag and a small mesh along the niche on the left side. Perfect solution!
A box located in the right wheel arch, closed with a lid, can be used to store a first aid kit or put tools in it. And in the left wing there is a niche for a five-liter canister - it’s convenient to keep oil or washer fluid here.

The design of Vesta SW has not changed after the restyling. The roof line of the Vesta SW drops sharply towards the rear, which, combined with the compact rear glazing, makes the car visually taller. The interior of Vesta SW is simple, but at the same time functional. Thanks to the fact that the center console protrudes slightly into the interior of the cabin, access to the multimedia screen and climate control audio system control keys is easier.
