- Crosshead screwdriver;
- Slotted screwdriver;
- A stationery or pocket knife (the latter is preferable);
- Wire cutters;
- Self-tapping screws or self-tapping screws (if not included, select your own).
First of all, we will remove the protective rubber bands that seal the connection between the door and the thresholds. Afterwards you will need to detach the small plastic element that protects a small area on the inside. The factory carpet is attached with ordinary construction staples; they will have to be bent using a slotted screwdriver or knife (be extremely careful). Having folded back part of the interior covering, find the standard rectangular holes. Clips (a kind of plastic sleeve) are placed in these holes. Using a knife, you will need to make slits in the sheathing in places where the carpet covers the holes.
Please note that the slot must clearly follow the shape of the clip. If you make it smaller, the clips will not sit in the mounting hole and may rise up when the screw is screwed in.
At this stage, it is already possible to return the door seal to its proper place. All that remains is to figure out how the trim will be located on the threshold and simply screw it on using self-tapping screws or screws prepared in advance. Do not overdo it: it is very easy to twist the self-tapping screw, you should not tighten it too much. Otherwise, you will have to remove the clip and replace it with a new one (a twisted one will not hold the fastener, and such fasteners will be of no use).

How to install
- Bend the edge of the seal and remove the fastening brackets (nippers) underneath it.
- Remove the plastic threshold profile under the carpet.
- Install plastic bushings into the body holes.
- Make holes in the carpet in the area of the installed bushings (with a hot nail).
- Install the door sill trim and secure it with screws.
- The front sills are installed in a similar way, but are additionally secured with a standard screw, which is located in the area of the driver’s left foot.
