One of the differences between the Vesta and XRAY heater and other Lada cars (for example, Grants or Prioras) is that the cabin filter is installed after the fan. This design feature makes it easy for debris and dirt to get into the blades, which causes extraneous noise (whistle, howl, rustle) or vibration.
Replacing the stove (heater) fan of Lada Vesta
Does the stove not work, or do you hear a whistle, hum or howl after turning it on? One of the reasons for these malfunctions may be hidden in the heater fan. On Vesta it is located in the housing of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system on the right side (front passenger side). Let's look at the instructions for replacing this fan in detail.
You will need: disconnect the ground terminal from the battery, remove the glove compartment.
We look under the panel on the front passenger side and disconnect the block with wires (No. 4) from the fan. Remove the fan by turning it counterclockwise, first pressing the lock (No. 3). Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Checking heating efficiency
The heater should be checked before the start of the winter season, and also several times in winter. Then troubles will not take you by surprise. To do this, you need to check the operation in all modes and evaluate:
- Does the air heat up and how quickly?
- Does the flow of air masses change with a change in command;
- Are there any extraneous noises?
- In general, are you satisfied with the operation of the heater?
