The X X Ray panel is made, in my opinion, from a not very practical material - rough plastic. Firstly, the appearance is not presentable, as for a car of this level, and secondly, dust and dirt are quite difficult to remove from it. Of course, these are all little things, so to speak, not for everyone.
I liked the design of the car’s instrument panel, but its information content leaves much to be desired. The device's scales are so dim that it is very difficult to read and see them. The situation is saved by turning on the dimensions; it is at this moment that the shield begins to be translucent from the inside and becomes quite readable.
There are a few other minor shortcomings that could have been foreseen in the X-Ray car. The lack of a central armrest, a heated steering wheel, and illuminated makeup mirrors are the main disadvantages inside the cabin.
The seats, in principle, can be called comfortable, however, in order to achieve this result you had to work hard with their settings
Engine and transmission
As a rule, people buy a car for themselves for more than one year. After driving in eco mode and getting used to driving, you will probably want to drive faster. Therefore, we will choose the engine that provides the best dynamics. According to the passport data, the Xray 1.8 with a manual transmission accelerates to the first hundred in 10.4 seconds. Version 1.6 with mechanics in this discipline is slightly slower - 11.7 s. The torque of the 1.8 is noticeably higher - 170 Nm versus 148 Nm for the younger modification. And fuel consumption in the combined cycle is approximately the same - 7.4 l/100 km for the 1.8 versus 7.0 l/100 km for the 1.6-liter version. Another reason to choose the 1.8 engine. This version can be bought in the top-end Exclusive equipment, while a car with a 1.6 liter engine in this configuration is not sold at all.
We will add a manual gearbox to the 1.8-liter unit. The mechanics are reliable and have sufficient clarity of switching. You need to get used to the robot, and not every driver will agree to do this.

The basic equipment of the Optima has the necessary minimum: driver and passenger airbags, immobilizer, alarm, daytime running lights, ERA-GLONASS system, ABS+BAS, electronic brake force distribution (EBD), electronic stability control (ESC), anti-skid ( TCS), hill start assist system (HSA).
Both engines are available in the basic version. A car with a 1.6 engine costs from 599,900 rubles, but we chose 1.8, so we will focus on it. The most affordable XRAY with this engine was priced at 685,900 rubles. It can also be purchased in Optima trim, but with the Advanced package. With it, the passenger will have a mirror in the sun visor, plus heated seats, which is necessary in our conditions, as well as electric drive and heated mirrors, air conditioning, a multifunction steering wheel and 15-inch alloy wheels. A modern car cannot do without this set.
