In the central tunnel between the front seats there are gear shift and parking brake levers. The glove compartment on the front passenger side is not the most spacious, but it is complemented by a small shelf below. Neither the front nor the rear seats have lateral support and are covered with ordinary fabric material. There is not much space in the back - it is comfortable for two people, but three passengers will have to make room. The fundamental difference from the VAZ 2108 is only in the absence of rear doors.

The steering column is adjustable in only one direction - up or down. There are electronic indicators on the panel; they inform about temperature, total and current mileage. There is an unobtrusive backlight, adjustable in brightness. As standard equipment, there is an electric drive for power windows on the front doors.

Since 2007, a more rigid dashboard has been installed, which, according to engineers, should increase body rigidity and reduce the level of extraneous noise, but in reality this is not the case.

• difficulty starting the car in the morning;
• uneven engine operation;
• the need to warm up the car longer before starting.

Water enters the tank for various reasons. You can remove it in one of the following ways:

1. Mix pure alcohol (from 200 to 500 milliliters) with gasoline, then pour these liquids into a container for fuel.
2. Through the spool on the fuel rail. This is a more complicated method, since you will need to drain the liquid using a hose into any transparent container. To do this, apply voltage to the fuel pump using the diagnostic block.
3. Drain manually using a long, thin hose from a drip line. You will need to place a bucket or any container under the liquid in the inspection hole or simply below the tank level.

You can prevent water from entering the gas tank by maintaining a constant fuel level in it (it is advisable to refuel “to capacity”). If you need to add gas on a rainy or foggy day, fill the fuel container 100%. This simple technique will allow you to displace moist air from the system, which settles as condensation during movement. In late autumn, pour pure alcohol into the system (200 milliliters is enough) to remove accumulated water and prevent it from freezing.

Exterior

The front of the VAZ-2113 has changed radically; the simple rectangular block headlights that were on the V8 were abolished - they were replaced by stylish, horizontally elongated optics with an integrated yellow turn signal light. Combining several functions under one glass does not always benefit the appearance of the car, but in this case the decision was successful. The headlights of the VAZ-2113 organically fit into the tip of the front wings and hood. The lower bumper continued the panel of the engine compartment; an elegant strip ran across its entire surface, encircling the perimeter of the car. The doors are distinguished by a discreet, noble design; their lower part smoothly merges into the sill fairings.

Lada 2115

The project to modernize VAZ models that belonged to the Samara-2 family began to be implemented in 1997. From that moment on, prototypes of the Lada 2115 began rolling off the assembly line. This car was the ideological successor of the model and in many ways these two sedans were unified with each other.

The history of serial production of “Fifteenth” begins only in 2000. It is noteworthy that 21099 lasted on the assembly line until 2004 and all this time the models were positioned in the same niche.

The VAZ 2115 was somewhat superior to its predecessor in terms of design. In particular, it is worth noting a different configuration of lighting optics at the front and rear, more rounded front fenders and a hood. Also, new bumpers, a radiator grille, a spoiler on the trunk lid (also new) with an additional brake light and a body kit were installed.

The interior received improved finishing materials and a new steering wheel. The layout and architecture of the instrument panel, as well as the center console, have been changed. The loading height of the luggage compartment has become lower.

VAZ-2101 (1970–1988) - the foreign public knew the model as LADA-120. It is a four-door sedan. The “penny” took away all external features from its Italian counterpart:

Priority - comfort

The half-liter engine with an output of 75 horsepower is the most powerful in the power range of the VAZ 2102. It is also the most torquey, and there is plenty of torque at both low and medium speeds.

The short-travel clutch pedal allows you to move away smoothly with little effort, and the optimally selected transmission gear set allows you to correctly realize the power potential of the engine.

The steering wheel responds extremely sluggishly to driver inputs and is also oversaturated with reactive force. When driving at low speeds, one can note that the steering wheel is quite informative, but as the speed limit increases, its play becomes noticeable, which is why the car begins to scour the road. When passing turns, significant rolls and sway are observed.

But it’s difficult to find fault with the smoothness of the ride. The long-travel suspension handles even large road potholes without any problems, without breaking through when the cabin is fully loaded.
