There is advice that is not given either in the instructions or in the reviews. Having connected the “black-gray” wire to the charge lamp, try using both settings options – 2 or 3. I recently picked up a car and it already had Starline A91 installed. I will say this - a very advanced car alarm for the money. The feedback is very good - on the key fob it is immediately clear what is on, although there are a whole bunch of different indicators. And the display itself is well backlit, even on a sunny day it does not overexpose and remains informative. In general, I am completely satisfied with it, I think that I would install this particular system on another car.

I chose Starline A91 after much deliberation. I say that I was right. Just a great alarm for the money. There is everything you can - autostart, feedback and a turbo timer, which is very important for me. Each parameter can be configured separately, which is convenient. I drink coffee in the morning, and then I go out and get into the already warmed-up car, thanks to the autostart. What’s also cool is that you can install a GSM module and control some functions directly from your phone. It's really convenient. Especially for the price at which the Starline A91 is valued.

Factory reset

To reset the Starline A91 alarm settings, use the following algorithm:

• turn on the ignition and press the service button located in the car 10 times in a row;
• turn off the ignition, and the siren will emit 10 short signals, notifying the user that he has switched the alarm to reset mode;
• press the service button once, after which one siren signal sounds;
• press button No. 1 (lock) on the key fob, after which the system notifies with a short single signal that the factory settings have been reset;
• To exit the reset mode, turn on the ignition or wait until the system automatically exits this mode. As confirmation, the side lights flash five times and the key fob emits a melodic signal.

All. The alarm has been reset to factory settings.

Thus, the Starline A91 alarm system can perform automatic functions, or it can perform mechanical functions, configured by pressing buttons. A significant part of its functions are changed by programming. Therefore, by customizing the system, you can create a convenient and reliable anti-theft system that will serve you for a long time and without failure.
