The improved Lada X Ray has been eagerly awaited in the country's domestic market since 2016, when a technical update of the future car was announced, which is an upgrade version of the Lada Xray, which rolled off the production lines six years ago.

The updated car is equipped with 4x4 all-wheel drive and a higher base, so it can safely be classified as a crossover type of car. Thanks to enhanced adjustments to existing technical characteristics, the new version will delight customers with an internal and external exterior that is noticeably different from the original.

The light novelty today is in a borderline state, when the finished project is being transferred to conveyor shops. Tolyatti official sources have set the release date for the updated model - the end of 2022.

The price for the Lux version starts from approximately 860,000 rubles.

The most expensive version is Luxury Prestige. It will cost the consumer about 890,000 rubles.

Start of sales on the domestic market

Official representatives of the AvtoVAZ concern promise to “put on wheels” at least 10 thousand modernized crossovers. However, the exact release date remains a secret. It is quite possible that this is a special marketing ploy aimed at maintaining the intrigue associated with the release of a new version of the cross. For now, potential customers only hear rumors that sales of the expected model could start as early as December of this year.

The lucky owners of the modified all-terrain vehicle from the first batch will first be Muscovites, then it will be available throughout Russia within the basic configuration.

In the niche of budget all-terrain vehicles, the closest rival of the domestic “jeep” is the Kia Rio X-Line, which is similar in the location of units and hubs.

It’s a different matter for rural residents seeking to purchase transport for transporting vegetables – LADA XRAY Cross is a slightly different type of transport.

The Lada X Ray turned out to be a fairly successful crossover in its class. The suspension ranks first in terms of comfort among all domestic cars. With proper operation and timely maintenance, working units can last more than 100 thousand kilometers without urgent replacement. Lada X Ray, like any other car, requires mandatory attention.
