Recognizable design. Finally, Zhiguli cars have such an appearance that you want to buy them. Vesta's handling is excellent, there is good ground clearance, the headlights are adjusted correctly - they illuminate the road decently. I have no complaints about the interior. Except that I would have arranged the air flow direction buttons differently.

On mine, already at 5,000 km, the stabilizer struts began to rattle and this problem is widespread. Noise insulation is tolerable, but it could be better; at speeds of 100 km/h, air currents begin to be very audible.

The heating control system is poorly configured. The display on which the heating level is adjusted has 15 (I think) divisions. So, the car will be warm only starting from the 12th division, even from the 13th. In other words, in winter there are two modes: the first 12 divisions are cold air, the last 3 are hot.

The front seat headrest is very disappointing, it is so bad that I want to throw it out, but driving without it is much more pleasant. No matter how you adjust it in height, it does not allow you to lean your back on the chair. He stupidly tilts his head forward so that after a long trip his cervical spine hurts. The seat in the chair is not large: it is short and narrow, so for me, being 180 cm tall, it is not very comfortable to sit.

When buying a Lada Vesta using an AMT robot, in principle, I knew in advance what I was getting ready for. From myself, what can I say - if you drive in the city cycle, without trying to kick everyone at the traffic lights, then you don’t pay attention to the work of the robot at all. The shift is noticeable only between 1st and 2nd gears, then the shifts are smooth and unnoticeable.

If you drive faster than usual, the robot does not always understand what you want from it. 1st and 2nd gears shift as they wish - maybe the engine is almost at the cut-off point, or maybe it will already shift from 20 km/h. It also engages 4th gear early - literally a couple of seconds after engaging 3rd gear. As a result, the delay between 2nd and 4th gears is significant.

At the same time, the Lada Vesta in the “Comfort” configuration included a lot of components that are pleasant for the driver and very useful in practice. The cost of this average configuration, which is especially surprising, was only slightly higher than the price of the basic set of options, called “Classic”. What exactly the long-awaited Lada Vesta “Comfort”, which has glorified itself for its quality, included, will be interesting for every driver to know.

Everything that is included in the comfort package is also available for the Optima and Image packages. The differences lie in the first case - in the heated windshield, in the second - the presence of rear windows. The version is quite balanced and has the necessary options. The manufacturers really tried to make sure that the name of their virtuoso assembly really spoke.

Among the pleasant nuances that are not available in a cheaper assembly, it is worth noting the presence of heated front seats in addition to the standard air conditioning. Driving in winter will be more enjoyable for connoisseurs of the domestic automobile industry. Also, the equipment of the new Lada Vesta includes stability systems ABS and ESC - and they are also available in the basic version. Another really important difference between the average set of options and the basic one will be the presence of parking sensors: contrary to popular belief, this control element is useful not only for novice drivers.

I wonder what else is included in the Lada Vesta “Comfort” package? This is a full-fledged audio system that replaces the standard radio with the ability to play a variety of storage media - from disks to flash cards. The first disadvantages of Lada Vesta

It took me the longest to get used to the reverse gear, but this is just a matter of habit. The bigger problem for me was the short second gear. I’m used to the fact that in a Lada Priora you can drive in second gear from the start to 60 km/h. This is not the case in Vesta. But the on-board robot tells you when to change gear. I also didn’t get used to the robot right away. Although now you can’t live without a robot.

In automatic mode, the Lada Vesta SW Cross jerks and kicks, so I almost immediately switched to manual mode. I’ve always driven a manual, it’s not a problem for me, maybe former owners of an automatic will think differently. In Vesta, AMT is good on the highway, when traveling long distances, especially if the road is half empty.

Vesta SW Cross has a few more minor disadvantages that became noticeable later:

  • Small interior rearview mirror, so-so overview;
  • There are no anthers on the engine, this only affects the appearance of the engine compartment, but as a fact;
  • Hard plastic on the front panel, different in texture (but we must pay tribute, it looks presentable);
  • The air conditioner's knobs are weak and are about to fall off.
  • Fabric upholstery on the back of the seats. Since I am driving a child, this is not very convenient. I had to buy covers.

If you have read about the 2022 Lada Vesta Cross owner reviews, you have probably heard about many other shortcomings. I also read about other disadvantages, but I only write what caught my eye. Everyone has their own criteria.

Now about the advantages of the Lada Vesta SV, I liked it:

There is enough space in the cabin. Also in the Vesta the steering is very easy, and you feel a large reserve on the brakes.

A lot has been said about this Lada; the car has been on sale for a long time. I will add from myself. It’s clear that VAZ developers, when creating the new Lada Vesta, took into account the wishes of car owners in everything: from the body to the configuration. The new model turned out to be not ideal, but worthwhile. I believe that if you don’t have enough money for a foreign car, then the Lada Vesta is a completely worthy purchase! The car is worth the money, plus the prices for spare parts are also low.
