The Lada Vesta sedan is available in three trim levels: Classic, Comfort, Luxe. First of all, dealers now have cars with maximum equipment. And at the end of December, the cheapest versions, the Classic, began to go on sale. In addition, each trim level has additional option packages that make the car more individual for everyone.

Salon of the basic version

Now let's go to the salon. It’s quite good here when compared with previous AvtoVAZ models. A cabin filter is immediately installed - this will prevent the interior from dust from the street.

The updated steering wheel is immediately noticeable. The instrument panel looks high quality and readable. It contains: tachometer, speedometer and fuel quantity indicator. The seats are quite comfortable and made of high quality material. The plastic no longer looks cheap, the front panel does not shake. Everything is done efficiently and soundly.

But the most surprising thing is the space in the back. The rear passenger can sit there quietly without feeling discomfort. This is very good, considering that the same Priora did not have much space in the back and had to somehow huddle. Here we see that the basic version has L-shaped headrests.

In the basic version, the car will be equipped with two airbags - a driver's and a switchable passenger's. But the car cannot boast of a standard music player, only audio preparation.

Also included in this configuration is the function of automatically locking the doors when driving. LADA Vesta in its basic configuration boasts electric windows for the front doors. The rear passengers still have the usual “oars”. The car will also be equipped with a cooled glove box and air conditioning as standard. Lada Vesta configuration

For LADA VESTA there are 3 configurations offered: CLASSIC, COMFORT and LUX. CLASSIC is the most diverse version in terms of the possibility of combining additional equipment based on desire and budget. There are about 11 design options in total, and there will be more later. There are also 12 body colors, but for the LUX package you can choose color combinations, the use of which will make the appearance of the car more expensive.

The standard version, called CLASSIC, includes: 3 L-shaped rear headrests (competitors have no such thing in this segment), convertible interior, cabin air filter, ABS and ESP systems, tilt-adjustable steering column, airbag, 15-inch wheels. For the LUX package - 16 inches. All cars will have very comfortable seats.

Buyers will also be offered a system for distributing braking forces along the axes of the car, stability control, preventing rolling on a hill when starting to move, an ERA-GLONASS rescue system and navigation, a multifunctional steering wheel (multifunction steering wheel), four airbags, a pre-heater, a rear view camera - in expensive trim levels , in cheaper ones - parking sensors, an adjustable steering column in two planes, a height-adjustable driver's seat, a multimedia system, heated seats, mirrors and windshield, light and rain sensors, etc.

An energy-intensive and durable suspension has been developed for the Lada Vesta, which, according to AVTOVAZ specialists, simultaneously provides the best performance in terms of smoothness, stability and controllability, and it also has high ground clearance. The car will receive engine protection, the sills and bottom will be treated with anti-gravel protection, and the gas tank capacity will be 55 liters, for comparison, the Priora has 43 liters.

Unlike the concept, which has a wheel diameter of 18 inches, the production version will have 15-16 inches.

Body

Let's look at the car body. The manufacturer promises that it will be galvanized and provides a 6-year warranty. The view is quite decent, although it reminds me of someone. The front part is made in the new X-shaped AvtoVAZ style. The Lada X-Ray crossover will be made in the same manner. The headlights will have the LADA designation. Comfort/image

The car must have a diesel engine

One of the engines should be a 1.6-liter diesel engine of the DV6 series, developing 95 hp and 216 Nm of torque, which has already been localized in Kaluga. The power unit complies with the Euro-6 environmental standard. A similar engine is combined with a 5-speed manual transmission. It is equipped with commercial models of Peugeot and Citroen. Neither the Toyota Camry nor the Kia K5 offers a diesel modification. But such a modification would be in great demand in corporate fleets, which account for a significant share of sales of cars of this class.

The main gasoline engine should be a turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine with a volume of the same 1.6 liters. It has nothing in common with the EP-6 series engines jointly developed with BMW. The latter have proven to be unreliable and extremely demanding to maintain. The new motor belongs to the more modern PureTech series. European buyers note much higher reliability of the power unit compared to its predecessors. At the Priora NFR it will be available in two configurations - 150 and 180 hp. Such modifications will be able to compete with Toyota Camry with 2.0 and 2.5 liter engines, respectively. This engine will be combined with a non-alternative 8-speed Aisin automatic transmission. This is the same unit that is installed on the Camry.

The new Lada Priora NFR will receive a 1.6-liter turbo engine

In the future, an all-wheel drive modification may appear. This Priora will receive a hybrid power plant. The rear axle will be driven by an electric motor, which will be activated during standing starts and acceleration. The car will not be able to move on pure electric power, since the battery capacity will be limited to 1.5 kW/hour.
