The manufacturer offers the same oil for each engine option. This is a “representative” of the ELF brand (Solaris RNX), which has a viscosity of 5W30. The only difference is the volume of lubricant that is poured into the Largus engine:

Lubricant replacement procedure

- The container is inserted, the plug is completely unscrewed, and the used lubricant is drained.
- It is necessary to check the condition of the sealing gasket, which, together with the plug, closes the drain neck. If it is unsatisfactory, it will need to be replaced.
- After some time, after the waste material has completely stopped flowing, the neck plug is screwed back on.
- The filter is replaced - the used part is unscrewed using a puller. The rubber seal of the new filter is lubricated with oil, after which it is screwed into place.
- New working fluid is poured through the filler neck. Ideally, about 4.8 liters should enter, but no more. It is advisable to periodically check the level with a dipstick. After this, the neck is closed with a stopper.
- The motor starts and runs to circulate the lubricant throughout the system. When starting, the emergency oil pressure lamp in the engine should go out. After warming up, you need to check the lubricant level again with a dipstick. It should be halfway between the minimum and maximum.

Procedure:
- Unscrew the oil filler plug.
- (At the bottom of the car on the engine crankcase), clean the drain plug with a wire brush, then unscrew it. Be careful not to burn yourself!
- After all the oil has run out (about 10 minutes) into a previously placed container, clean the plug from dirt and screw it back.
Under the plug there is a steel washer on the surface of which a thin layer of rubber is vulcanized. If it is damaged, replace the washer with a new one. If you do not have a new washer, you can install a copper washer with a hole diameter of 18 mm under the plug.
Lada Largus engine oil
The overall creation of a small car jointly produced by AvtoVAZ and Renault began in 2012. The model was developed on the Nissan B0 platform and intended for the Russian market as an adaptation of the Dacia Logan I (the Sandero, Duster and a whole generation of Nissan cars were created on the same platform). To adapt Largus to the peculiarities of Russian roads and climate, the unique suspension was changed and slightly updated with arches. For those people who don’t really delve into the technical data, Largus from the outside looks like our client remains the same Logan, topped with the AvtoVAZ logo familiar to everyone.

An engine marked K4M is a highly technical unit with the highest features. The first production of the unit began back in 1999. The motor design is quite common and understandable. The only difference from its younger brother K7M is that there are two camshafts in the cylinder head.

How to replace the oil filter
You will need : a 10" or 13" wrench, a puller or a screwdriver.
On the K4M engine, access to the oil filter is blocked by the engine protection, which will have to be removed (6 x 10 screws). Or remove the fuel frame protection from above by unscrewing the 2 “13” screws. Place an empty container under the filter and turn it counterclockwise using a puller.
If you don’t have a special tool, you can use a screwdriver. For easier access to the filter on the K7M engine, you can remove the exhaust manifold thermal shield by unscrewing the three mounting screws. Then pierce the filter housing with a screwdriver (closer to the bottom of the filter, so as not to damage the motor fitting), unscrew the filter, using the screwdriver as a lever.
Fill the new filter 1/3 full with new engine oil and lubricate the sealing ring with it. Then install the oil filter, tightening it by hand until the O-ring comes into contact with the cylinder block. After this, tighten the oil filter another 3/4 turn.
