Without hesitation, I took a long screwdriver and began to bend the latches from the inside of the mirror itself, one after another, there are 5 of them at the same time, very carefully bend the mirror element itself in all corners and as a result of this process the trim itself flew out... Today I will take them for painting and there is still installation from scratch for the wiring under the mirrors, so the most interesting is yet to come;)))))

The process of tensioning the timing belt “from start to finish”
We perform all operations on a cold engine. Let's say the belt is now being replaced and the nut on the roller is not tightened. Then just skip "step 1":

- Taking the key “17”, tighten the nut on the roller. Recommended force – 33.2-41.1 N*m.
- All that remains is to remove everything unnecessary - the plate and the pin.
On a VAZ-2112 engine, the timing belt tension depends on the force applied to the adjusting key. The force should be 2.0 N*m. And our distance from the axis to the “ear” is 51 mm (see below). Multiply 0.051 by 39.2266 (4 kgf in Newtons) and you will get what you need.

- the green wire must be connected to the black-green one;
- red joins blue-red;
- The blue wire needs to be connected to the black-blue one;
- brown wire - to red-blue (second block);
- The black wires are connected together, this is the “minus” for the repeaters and heating.
Try not to work with mirrors in winter. If the thermometer drops below zero, you need to be more careful with the mirror. When you disconnect the part, heat it up using a hair dryer or heat gun. To remove the rear view mirror covers, it is not necessary to remove the mirror element. To do this you will have to:
fold the side mirror and unclick the first lock of the trim (only for LADA Kalina 2 and LADA Granta). Turn the mirror element to the side as far as possible, insert a screwdriver into the resulting slot and unclip the 4 clips of the cover. Separate the side mirror trim from the housing.
If there is a need to remove the mirror element, then you should:
tilt the mirror element to the side. Unclip the latches in a circle using a screwdriver.

Removing the door trim

- The rods of the locking mechanism are removed, the upholstery is moved back to a distance limited by the length of the wires supplying the lifts.
- The wiring is carefully removed, after which the door trim is also dismantled.

- Using pliers, carefully remove the locking bracket, which limits the mobility of the hinge.
- Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the screws that secure the mirror to the door structure.
- The mirror is removed, all cables and hinge mechanisms are routed through a hole located in the outer door panel.
If we are talking about a mechanically controlled mirror, with automatic control, then it may additionally be necessary to remove the wires that provide the drive with electrical energy.
These wires are fixed in blocks, so disconnecting them is not difficult.
Installing a new mirror occurs in the reverse order of installing door trim.
The main thing is to control the correct connection of the wires in order to maintain the functionality of all electronic systems of the vehicle, direction indicators and heating
