The instrument panel does not work on the VAZ 2110: combination, pinout

Print this article Font size 16

Situations in which the instrument panel on a VAZ 2110 does not work are not at all uncommon for a product of the domestic automobile industry. Any car is not without sin, so car owners have no choice but to deal with the problems that arise over and over again.

Dashboard

Problems and their solutions

Old and new sample There are several common problems typical for the dashboard of the domestically produced VAZ 2110 model.

  1. The instrument panel lights on the VAZ 2110 do not light up. Check the contacts and the condition of the wiring that is responsible for the suspension. The fuses could simply have blown, or the light bulbs themselves could have burned out as a result of wear and tear or a short circuit. In fact, there can be many reasons, so it is not always possible to resolve the issue in a couple of minutes.
  2. The most serious failure for the instrument panel is a complete failure of the unit. In such a situation, all indicators stop working, the arrows fall down, and the warning lamps do not light up. To fix the problem, first check fuse 15, which is designated F6. You will find it on the mounting block. If this element is blown, simply replacing the fuse will not solve the problem. Look for the reason why it burned out. Usually this is a simple short circuit in the electrical network.
  3. The arrows jump up and down. This is also a common phenomenon, the cause of which in most cases is poor ground contact: This ground wire goes to the partition that separates the interior and engine compartment, from the instrument panel. To get to it, remove the radio from its seat. Check the quality of its fastening;
  4. Often, when installing an alarm system, the ground wire is moved to another location for more convenient access. Therefore, if you have an alarm system, but there is no wire under the radio, then look for it behind the interior trim near the driver’s left foot;
  5. The ground wire may be damaged when installing a new audio system. When the minus is connected, the mass is unscrewed and then often mounted back, only not as reliably as it was originally. Due to vibrations, collisions with bumps and holes, the fastening weakens and contact disappears. Hence the non-functional panel. Do not be lazy to properly wrap the bulk wire, since poor fastening is often explained by the inconvenience of performing this activity.

Problem with the instrument panel. To check if everything is fine with it, remove it as much as possible from the seat, but do not disconnect the wiring going to the pads. The white wire (X1) that goes to the first contact is checked. It would be a good idea to check the voltage on pins 10.9 and 6. During normal operation of the system, the device should give a reading of about 12 volts. Be sure to look at the back of the shield and make sure the conductive paths are intact. Cigarette lighter. It is not uncommon for the instrument panel on a VAZ 2110 to fail due to the cigarette lighter. You are probably no exception among drivers who connect all sorts of additional devices and devices through this socket. This is how many people charge their phones, connect tablets, video recorders and other equipment. By consuming a large amount of current, the devices damage the cigarette lighter or cause fuse F19 to blow. Because of this, the instrument panel turns off or does not work correctly. If the fuse is intact, simply disconnect the cigarette lighter connector. If such measures do not produce results, simply replace the fuse with a new one.

As practice shows, most problems associated with the failure of the dashboard can be solved independently. Especially when it comes to a car like the VAZ 2110.

Improve yourself. Perhaps soon you will be able to change to a more expensive, modern car. Then solving the electronics problem will be much more difficult. The VAZ 2110 is an excellent simulator that allows you to carry out repairs yourself, understand the structure of the car, and experience all the delights of self-repair

It is important for any man to be able not only to drive, but also, if necessary, to repair his car.

Precautionary measures

When performing dashboard repairs, you should follow some rules:

  • You can change fuses only with the ignition off;
  • monitoring of devices must be carried out as carefully as possible to avoid short circuits;
  • Damaged elements should be soldered using a device with minimal power and a thin nozzle;
  • You need to remove and fix the shield very carefully so as not to inadvertently damage the fastenings.

Repair

Head lighting diagram for VAZ 2110

It must be said that repairing the low beam on a VAZ 2110 is not difficult - you just need to ring the circuit and find a break in order to fix it.

Below is the optimal procedure:

  • Since the low beam relay on the VAZ 2110 is often the cause of a low beam malfunction, you can start checking with it. Using the device, you need to determine whether voltage is supplied to it and whether it is at the output. If there is no voltage at the output, then the relay needs to be replaced.
  • If there is no voltage supplied to the relay and there is no voltage at the fuse terminals, then you should check the VAZ wiring from the switch to the fuses, as well as the switch itself.
  • If there is voltage at the output of the relay, you need to check whether it is supplied to the lamp connector. Often the cause of the malfunction is burnt or oxidized contacts. If the low and high beams disappear at once, then the ground wire in the headlight may have come loose.

How to remove the tidy

On a VAZ 2110, removing the dashboard from the dashboard is not difficult, and the only tools you need are a Phillips screwdriver and pliers or a wrench. With their help, we will remove the positive terminal from the battery before starting work. So, lower the steering wheel and unscrew the 4 screws that secure the decorative trim.

Releasing the decorative trim on the VAZ 2110

After this, we pull the cover towards ourselves, and it can be easily removed, hanging on the wires of the switches. To prevent the cover from getting in the way, the wires from the switches can be disconnected - they are on the connectors.

Arrangement

So, what can you see on the instrument panel in this car? The combination consists of several components:

  • antifreeze temperature indicator in Celsius;
  • tachometer - number of revolutions of the power unit;
  • right and left turn indicators;
  • speedometer - vehicle speed;
  • fuel reserve - the volume of fuel in the tank;
  • image of a gas station - a signal about the need to refuel;
  • control indicator for starting dimensions;
  • brake fluid level indicator;
  • starting high beam headlights;
  • knob for adjusting the clock;
  • display with total and daily mileage;
  • alarm control indicator;
  • clock screen;
  • battery charge level;
  • check engine - indicates an engine malfunction;

indicator indicating the handbrake is engaged; oil pressure level; choke light - only available on carburetor engines.

Tuning

This is what often causes the dashboard to malfunction. Perhaps the new shield was not fixed correctly, which is why it actually does not work. Either when installing the wiring, not all cables were connected, or they were simply bent. In such cases, only individual elements of the dashboard often stop functioning: for example, displays, battery, handbrake or oil pressure indicators, as well as the carburetor choke light. The instrument panel of the VAZ-2110 does not work after tuning - what to do in this case? The first thing to do is replace the wires. Usually, this allows you to easily solve the problem.

Re: Resolved: The tachometer needle twitches or shows nothing

spy46, tachometer readings are taken from the ECU. Could there be a bad contact on the ECU connector? If there is a BC, then look at the readings on it; there may be a problem in the instrument cluster itself. Do another tidy test, what happens?

Topic: Resolved: Dashboard lights do not come on, but indicators work

Good day, dear ones. I have a question.

Car VAZ 2110 2002. The right side of the dashboard stopped lighting up, so I decided to go in and replace the light bulbs. I decided to replace the light bulbs not with standard ones, but with LED ones . Let me make a reservation right away that I did not replace the entire panel, but only on the right side. So:

1. Replaced it, after which the lighting of the entire instrument panel went out, but the indicator lights all work;

2. Then I opened the fuse box, fuses F1, F11 were blown (dimensions were missing) - replaced them. I turned the dashboard light control and it burned out again.;

3. I replaced the instrument backlight control (it was faulty, the loop at the end fell off), but the backlight did not appear;

4. Replaced fuses F1 again, F11 stopped burning;

5. Checked whether 12V power is coming to the dashboard: 5.1. White block - connectors 9, 10, everything comes clearly at 12V; 5.2. Red block - 2 (sort of) or 3 connector comes but 10.78V. But I checked it BEFORE replacing the rheostat. What to do, where to look next?! Or is it because of the diodes that the backlight has disappeared? Although the indicator lights on the turn signals and high beams light up normally.

    Popular faults

    If we talk about the dashboard of VAZ 2109 cars, then they are characterized by certain problems. We will tell you about them, and also tell you how to act correctly in a given situation.

    Fault typeYour actions
    Gasoline level and temperature indicator does not workIn most percent of cases, this situation occurs due to breakdown of devices, sensors of these devices, or an open circuit of the power supply. Therefore, first check the circuit for continuity, make sure that the fuses have not blown. If this is not the case, check whether the gas level and temperature sensors are working. Only if none of the actions allowed you to get rid of the breakdown, you can begin to replace the devices themselves. No options, the problem lies in them
    When the fuel tank is full, the arrow points to zeroIf you have worked on the fuel level sensor, the fault most likely lies with you. When manipulating this device, the float limiter is often knocked down. Either the limiter is installed incorrectly or adjusted, causing the resistor winding to end. To resolve the problem, remove the sensor and then adjust the limiter again
    The fuel gauge needle regularly jumps and ends up at zeroHere, most likely, the resistor has weak contact with the current collector. Another possible option is that there is a break in the resistor. To resolve this situation, we recommend replacing the hot level sensor with a new measuring device
    The fuel level lamp is constantly onIf this lamp is constantly on, there is probably a short circuit in the fuel level sensor supply wiring to ground. Another option is that the sensor’s flexible bus is shorted to the fuel intake pipe. You will have to disassemble the device to align the bus and get rid of the resulting short circuit
    Indicator lamps do not work on the dashboardThere is a high probability that the light bulbs have simply burned out, or they are poorly held in their seats due to loose contact. Replace the bulbs, but first try tightening the contacts. Traces of oxidation may be detected. When cleaned, the light bulbs can work normally again. Also, do not exclude the possibility of wiring breakage or oxidation of the tips of the supply wiring. Try going over the wires with a tester, cleaning the contacts if necessary.
    The speedometer does not work, the flexible shaft is noisyIn such a situation, you will have to change the speedometer drive cable or replace the entire speedometer assembly. But before you bother so much, check that the fastening nuts of the tips are tightened correctly and properly. The flexible shaft may make noise during operation due to deformation or violation of the permissible bending of the shell of less than 10 centimeters during installation

    The instrument panel of the VAZ 2109 is not so complicated that you cannot figure it out on your own. But in the absence of experience, it is better to entrust the repair to specialists, or to enlist the support of a partner who understands this matter.

    If you find an error, please select a piece of text and press Ctrl+Enter.

    What is especially important to control at the rear dimensions

    If the control light on the key does not light up, but the dimensions work, then first look at the panel wiring. Remove the key block from the socket, then wipe the contacts with alcohol. If the dimensions on the right side do not work simultaneously with the warning lamp, then check the fuse. It is worth noting that they rarely fail, since the VAZ-2114 began to install wide options that have a reliable contact pad.

    If F10 or F11 still breaks down frequently, then it is necessary to check the mounting block; it may be faulty. If this unit is in working order, then check the entire electrical circuit. Sometimes constant failure of fuses indicates a short circuit in the wiring, which can lead to a car fire for no apparent reason.

    Oxidation is the most common cause of headlight failure, so check your rear light units regularly. First of all, when repairing your car, test the lamps for integrity, and only then look for faults in other places. Many people believe that the probability of lamp failure is minimal, but this is not so - according to statistics, the reasons are often hidden precisely in them.

    Like all not new cars that have been removed from the production line a long time ago, second-generation Samaras are subject to minor breakdowns over the years, which, among other things, affect lighting devices. For this reason, many drivers are faced with the fact that the rear lights on their VAZ 2114 do not light up, which can lead to dangerous situations on the road if the problem is not solved in time.

    Traffic rules

    According to the Rules of the Road, a driver in the dark is required to illuminate the side lights on his vehicle when moving. At this time, the instrument panel is also illuminated.

    Causes and repairs

    The left side parking lights and instrument panel lights are connected through fuse F1, and the right side lights through F11. Both are rated for 5 Amps.

    Sometimes the backlight may not work. In this case, you need to check fuse F1 , which is located in the passenger compartment on the driver's side in a special block. You also need to check fuse F11 .

    If the fuses are normal, you need to check all the wiring and lamps on the dimensions.

    VAZ 2110 instrument panel does not work

    VAZ 2110 instrument panel does not work April 17, 2022 at 18:27

    The instrument panel of the VAZ 2110 includes a number of elements, including a tachometer, speedometer, oil level sensor, fluid temperature indicator in the system, twelve control lights, six dashboard backlight lights, an additional socket for installing a control light and blocks for connecting wires. Wire blocks consist of two parts, which are responsible for different elements of electrical circuits

    If the instrument panel does not work on a VAZ 2110, it is important to know what type of part is installed on the car. This model was equipped with two types of panels: the old type with symmetrically located instruments and a new type, on which indicators for the amount of fuel and coolant level are located on the right side of the panel. Why doesn't the dashboard work on the VAZ 2110?

    Why doesn't the dashboard work on the VAZ 2110?

    Many drivers are faced with a problem when the instrument panel on a VAZ 2110 completely stops working. In this case, the devices themselves do not function and the instrument lamps do not light up. This failure indicates that the 15-amp fuse has failed. This part is marked F6 and is located in the mounting block located to the left of the steering wheel. If the instrument panel on a VAZ 2110 does not work due to a blown fuse, replacing the spare part will not be enough. In this case, you will have to find the cause of the burnout, because the new fuse may also burn out after installation.

    It is important to find the place where the electrical circuit shorted and eliminate it

    In some cases, the arrows on the instrument panel do not show real values, but simply jump from the minimum to the maximum mark. In this case, the breakdown may consist of poor contact with the ground. The ground wire leading from the instrument panel is attached to the partition that separates the interior from the engine compartment. You can find the contact point by removing the tape recorder from the socket. If the car has an alarm system, the wire can be moved behind the interior trim, to the area of the driver’s left foot. A similar malfunction can occur during the installation of the radio: if, when connecting the negative wire to the tape recorder, the negative wire of the dashboard was disconnected. The wire may have been attached poorly. Due to body vibration, the fastening could become loose or completely detached.

    If the instrument panel does not work on a VAZ 2110, and no problems are found with the fastening, you will have to conduct a thorough diagnosis of the dashboard itself. To do this, remove the panel as much as possible from the standard socket without disconnecting the wires leading to the pads. We check the white ground wire located on the block, going to the first contact. After this, we check the voltage at contact numbers 9, 10 and 6. During normal operation of the panel, the voltage should be twelve volts. Next, we inspect the tracks located on the back side of the instrument panel

    It is important that all the tracks are intact, since it is through them that the electric current is conducted.

    Another reason for instrument panel failure is related to the cigarette lighter. The fact is that many drivers connect chargers or power supplies designed for high current to the cigarette lighter socket. This disables the cigarette lighter and leads to the blowing of fuse F19, which is also responsible for the operation of the instrument panel. If you urgently need to return the instrument panel of the VAZ 2110 to working condition, and the fuse turns out to be intact, you can disconnect the cigarette lighter connector. If the instrument panel does not work on a VAZ 2110, most often you can fix the problem yourself without going to a repair shop. The main thing is to correctly determine the cause of the breakdown and select new fuses and failed spare parts.

    Device

    In this case, the instrument cluster on the VAZ 2110 includes:

    • Tachometer;
    • speedometer;
    • Fuel level indicator;
    • Coolant temperature gauge;
    • Indicator lamps in the amount of 12 pieces;
    • 6 instrument panel suspension lights;
    • Reserve socket for control lamp;
    • A pair of terminals for connecting wires.

    Tidy pinout

    As for the instrument panel, two types are used for the VAZ 2110 model. It all depends on the year of the car as there is an old version and an updated version.

    1. In old panels, devices are located symmetrically.
    2. The new instrument panel is characterized by two indicators being shifted to the right side - the coolant temperature and the fuel level in the tank.

    Before you begin to solve the problem yourself, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with the pinout of the instrument panel on the VAZ 2110. In other words, you should understand where which wiring leads, what it is intended for, what fuses are available, and so on.

    All this can be easily found out using the information from the instruction manual. Having such visual literature at hand and the car in front of your eyes, you can correct typical dashboard faults without the help of specialists and special knowledge in electronics.

    Possible reasons

    What to do in a situation where the instrument panel backlight on a VAZ-2110 car has disappeared? First of all, you should look for the reason why this malfunction occurred. Sometimes it can be identified immediately, but in some cases this process takes some time. In fact, there may be several reasons, so you will need to check everything methodically.

    The most banal and simplest option is that someone turned the rheostat knob, which is responsible for the amount of light flux, all the way to the left.

    This, by the way, is often the sin of children who are placed in the front seat. “Young drivers” love to turn all sorts of knobs, press buttons and switch levers. Perhaps the adults overlooked it, and the child “corrected” the dashboard lighting. The problem, as you understand, is solved by simply returning the rheostat knob to its previous position. Therefore, before you start looking for possible reasons for the sudden disappearance of the backlight, check this particular point.

    I would like to remind you of one simple rule. In a situation where there may be several possible causes of failure, when searching you need to follow the path of least resistance. In other words, test the simplest assumptions first. You may be lucky and find the problem with minimal time and effort.

    If the reason is not in the position of the rheostat handle, you need to proceed to further search for the causes of the breakdown. Possible sources of problems here could be:

    • fuse;
    • instrument panel circuit board;
    • contacts;
    • wiring;
    • failure of light bulbs due to short circuit.

    So, let's look at some of the above reasons in more detail. After the rheostat handle, you should check the integrity of the 5-amp fuse F1. You can also usually turn on the side lights and see if they work on the left side. Everything is explained here simply. The lamps that illuminate the instrument panel, the left side lights, as well as the trunk lighting operate through this fuse. The dimensions located on the right side of the car receive power through F11, that is, they are not of interest to us in this particular case.

    You may see the following situation. The left side parking lights, or trunk light, work, but the instrument panel light does not. This means that the problem is not in fuse F1. Therefore, you need to continue searching for the possible cause of the malfunction. In particular, it is necessary to check the contacts of the rheostat that illuminates the dashboard lighting. It is not uncommon for plugs to fall off. Accordingly, the lighting of the shield disappears due to lack of contact.

    However, the rheostat itself can also fail. It is quite easy to check this assumption. To do this, you must first remove the rheostat, and then directly connect its contacts. If after this manipulation the instrument panel lights come to life, it means that the problem has been found, and you just need to replace the failed part. If not, then you need to continue searching further.

    The most serious problem due to which the instrument panel lighting disappears is damage to the printed circuit board of the dashboard itself. In particular, there are often situations when the track on it that supplies power to the lamps burns out. One point worth noting here. The instrument panel in such a situation cannot be repaired, which means there is only one way out - replacement with a new one.

    There are cases when, due to a short circuit, all the lamps illuminating the instrument panel burn out. However, this happens quite rarely. Much more often, one lamp may fail. As you can see, there are several reasons why the instrument panel lighting may disappear. Accordingly, the search will take some time. However, in the vast majority of cases, eliminating the malfunction that has arisen will not be so difficult, and many people can easily do this with their own hands.

    Diagnostics

    It doesn’t matter at all whether the VAZ-2110 dashboard with an 8-valve injector or a 16-valve carburetor does not work; the first step is to diagnose the dashboard itself. After all, its serviceability does not depend in any way on the inside of the car.

    Correct diagnosis involves performing several simple manipulations:

    • checking lamps and replacing faulty parts;
    • checking the wiring using an indicator or multimeter;
    • inspecting contacts and cleaning them from oxidation deposits;
    • checking fuses;
    • monitoring the performance of devices.

    If the dashboard of a VAZ-2110 with a Euro installation does not work, you should check fuses F18, F19 and F1. In cases with gasoline units, you should also pay attention to parts with numbers: F6 and F10.

    What is a shield

    Behind the steering wheel there is a special panel equipped with a set of control and signal light indicators, which is commonly called a panel. This block in domestic and foreign cars is endowed with approximately the same functionality. On its front side there are the following components:

    • the main space is reserved for a dial indicator that measures the current speed value;
    • To the left of the speedometer there is a tachometer scale, which helps control engine speed;
    • there are two smaller dial indicators responsible for displaying information about the temperature of the engine and the fullness of the fuel tank;
    • six lamps are built-in to indicate the status of the backlight and pairs for the turn signals;
    • all kinds of lamps responsible for the activated emergency lights, battery charge, oil pressure, raised handbrake, Check Engine and several reserve cells.

    Users have access to two factory versions of the shield, one of which is an old model, and the second is a “European panel”. In the first embodiment, the location is more symmetrical, and in the second, the indication of fuel and heating of the internal combustion engine is shifted to the right.

    Dial indicators

    In some cases, the arrows do not work or behave with sharp jumps, falling to the minimum and rising to the maximum values arbitrarily. The culprit for this behavior is weak contact in the electrical circuit with ground.

    Typically, the “negative” wire from the instrument panel is fixed to the instrument bulkhead separating the engine compartment from the interior. It will be possible to detect it after removing the radio from its socket. It is worth considering that for cars with a non-standard alarm system installed, for the convenience of attaching such a wire with ground, the contact area was moved to another more comfortable place. Often at stations, specialists hide it behind the interior lining, where the driver’s left foot stands.

    A contact problem can also be caused by the ground cable from the radio. A defect occurs when the instrument panel wire is loosely fixed. When the car moves, the contact is shortened, which provokes a breakdown. It is enough to simply provide a more reliable fixation to the ground contact.

    Deep revision

    It is also advisable to add lighting - using an LED strip. You can take a white one, or a colored one. Preferably something that is not too harsh on the eyes – perhaps blue or green, depending on the owner’s taste.

    Today, blue light is the most popular - it gives good visibility of readings on all instruments, but does not interfere with the driver’s ability to see the road clearly.

    Another good idea is to make the arrows glow a different color. To do this, they need to be cleaned of old, red paint, and then painted white.

    It could be nitro enamel or, even simpler, white nail polish. A color LED must be installed next to the needle on the instrument scale. The arrow, changing its position, will be colored differently.

    Additionally, when using only white light, a colored overlay will help. That is, even without electrical intervention, the colored film overlay will change its appearance.

    If possible, the light filter is removed, and the backing is decorated with an overlay, and here you can get creative with different materials and colors (electrical tape, colored tape, colored vinyl film). Such an overlay will significantly transform the panel and make it exclusive.

    Cigarette lighter failure

    It is its malfunction that often causes the shield to fail. The fact is that many car owners turn on various devices through the cigarette lighter, for example, a special vacuum cleaner, chargers, pumps and other devices. Due to the fact that these gadgets require high current, either the socket itself or fuse F19 often breaks, as a result of which the instrument panel on the VAZ-2110 does not work.

    In addition, the cigarette lighter may become damaged if left on for too long. In this case, you can return the instrument panel to functionality by disconnecting the socket block. But it is worth saying that such manipulation will be successful only if fuse F19 is functioning. If it does burn out, it must be replaced.

    The first frost arrived (-15 at night). The car started up in the morning without any complaints. I warmed it up properly so that the cabin was warm and set off. I drove about 3 kilometers, the lights of the instruments and devices in the cabin went out, and the outside dimensions disappeared. The low beam continues to work. He turned around and parked the car.

    In the evening I looked and rang - fuses F10, F11 are intact. The button for turning on the dimensions and low beam is also intact. Low beam works. In addition to the dimensions and lighting, the fog lights and lights do not work. Pressing the brake is accompanied by illumination of the corresponding lights. The stove also works. I don’t understand what’s wrong? In Murzilka, the circuit couldn’t be simpler, almost a direct wire through the fuses. If the fuses are OK, then the fog lights should at least work (even if the lamp control relay is dead).

    Maybe someone knows what the reason is? There is an option - a glitch in the connectors. But where and what are they?

    Why doesn't the instrument panel light come on?

    I'll give you an example from my life. I went fishing in the summer with my friend in a VAZ 2115 car. On the way, before arriving at the place, the instrument panel lights stopped lighting up

    The malfunction would seem insignificant for daytime, but in the evening and at night the driver in this situation is unable to concentrate his attention on the instrument readings, which means it was necessary to eliminate the malfunction

    What to do in this situation, where should you look for the cause of the malfunction? Spare bulbs were available, fuses were missing. Or maybe the reason is not in the fuses, but in a break or lack of contact? In general, it’s impossible to immediately figure out where to start. That is, we asked ourselves a single thought: How can we determine the malfunction in this case?

    Fuse blown

    As already mentioned, a malfunction of this panel element often leads to failure of the entire panel. You can find fuse F6 in the mounting block. If it does burn out, it is very important to identify the cause of the breakdown. Otherwise, the new part will repeat the fate of the previous part and will burn out in the same way. Often the cause of the breakdown lies in a banal electrical circuit short circuit. Once the initial problem has been identified and corrected, you simply need to replace the fuse with a new part.

    By the way, often the malfunction of this part becomes the reason that the dashboard and turn signals on the VAZ-2110 do not work. So, if you encounter such a problem, you can safely change the fuse.

    Let's sum it up

    The lack of lighting on the heater control panel does not affect the technical characteristics of the car, however, it causes significant inconvenience for the driver. Searching for an unlit heater switch at night distracts the driver's attention from the road and can become an indirect cause of an emergency.

    If the backlight of the stove regulator does not work, it is necessary to replace the bulbs. Even a novice driver can cope with this task. To improve the appearance of the heater controls, use LED elements instead of conventional light bulbs, and the appearance of the device will delight you with warmth and comfort in the car interior.

    Upgrading the backlight of the heater control unit

    Very often, in parallel with replacing the light bulb, the lighting of the heater control panel is upgraded. The fact is that the standard illumination of the vehicle’s stove is very dim compared to the instrument panel of the VAZ-2110. It is not always enough for comfortable switching of heater modes at night.

    You can modernize the appearance of the control panel by installing an LED light bulb instead of a conventional incandescent lamp. The LED lamp is characterized by a more intense glow. There are lighting elements on sale in different colors. Most often, white, red, blue or green colors are used to illuminate devices. Sometimes the scale of the VAZ-2110 heater damper is subject to modification, the appearance of which is improved with the help of LED elements. They can be matched to the color of the heater controls lighting.
