Maintenance of the LADA XRAY car guarantees a longer service life of the car. This procedure allows you to identify and eliminate minor faults at an early stage.

Changing the candles

Replacing spark plugs is not a complicated operation, but you will need a set of sockets (including a 16 spark plug) with extensions and knobs. The spark plugs are located between the plastic pipes of the intake manifold and are easy to reach.

The technology for replacing spark plugs is as follows:

  1. Disconnect the ignition coil wiring chips;

  1. Unscrew the coil mounting bolts;
  2. We remove the coils;

  1. Using a spark plug head with an extension, unscrew the spark plug;
  2. Screw in a new candle;

Then all that remains is to put the coil in place, secure it and connect the connector with the wiring.

Spark plugs in versions with Renault-Nissan H4m and HR16 engines are replaced during maintenance 2 and after a mileage of 90,000 km. Zero maintenance of the Lada XRay is optional.

Brake system

Transmission and chassis

Testing of the transmission and chassis during TO2 XRAY includes the following work:

  • tested for the presence of abnormal sound during operation of the drives and hinges of the front wheelbase while driving on a normal road surface and when turning;
  • checked for the presence of abnormal sounds in the chassis and suspension of the vehicle while driving with obstacles;
  • wheels are inspected to ensure compliance with standard installation angles;
  • the technical condition of the suspensions is checked using a visual inspection for critical wear;
  • the tire treads and rims are inspected;
