We take a furniture stapler and tighten each element separately, securing the carpet on the back with staples. The decorated trunk of the VAZ 2111 should also perform a certain role as body rigidity. We fix a kind of spacer made of the same plywood between the left and right parts. You can also install trunk lighting there. For the side niches of the luggage compartment of the VAZ 2111, we make an indent through rectangular doors that open downwards. The spare wheel well is a composite element. A small part of the floor is used to store tools, and a large part is used for a spare tire. Such tuning of the VAZ 2111 has its disadvantages. Gas distribution mechanism
The operation of the mechanism is to supply the air-fuel mixture and remove exhaust gases. The device consists of a camshaft and a valve mechanism. The camshaft is mounted in the upper supports of the cylinder head and rotates from the crankshaft by an elastic toothed belt. On the rear side of the shaft there is a pin for fastening the ignition timing sensor.
The valves are actuated by pushrods and cams located on the camshaft. When the engine is running, the pushers gradually rotate around their axis to ensure even wear. The clearance in the valves is set by adjusting washers, which are installed in the upper part of the pushers.
The valves are made of chromium-silicon or chromium-nickel-molybdenum steel. The valves move inside guide bushings pressed into the block head. The bushings are covered with fluorine rubber rubber caps with steel rings, which are installed to prevent oil from entering the combustion chamber. To prevent the valve from being destroyed by high temperatures, a heat-resistant alloy is applied to its working surface.
Crankshaft
The VAZ 21114 has a cast iron crankshaft with eight counterweights. Counterweights balance the reciprocating forces of the pistons to ensure smooth engine operation. The crankshaft is held in the block by main bearing supports. The function of bearings is performed by steel-aluminum liners. To prevent axial movement of the crankshaft, thrust half-rings are installed in the grooves of the middle support. The main bearings are lubricated by oil lines inside the shaft.
Piston group
Fret 21114 is equipped with forged steel connecting rods with liners on the lower head and a steel-bronze bushing at the top. The piston is made of aluminum alloy. Roof rack arrangement for VAZ 2111
The VAZ 2111 roof rack is installed in two cases:

Installing the trunk on the roof rails
The VAZ 2111 is equipped with roof rails installed during assembly at the factory. These are the so-called high rails, in their upper part spaced from the roof by about 6 cm. Installing the trunk on the rails in this case is not difficult, but if these elements were integrated, a special installation kit would be required to install the trunk. Many models of roof racks are suitable for installation on high roof rails, both from foreign manufacturers - for example, Thule (Sweden) or Nord (China), and domestic ones - Omega-Favorite (manufactured by the Ant rack) or Atlant (Atlant rack). The luggage carrier is supplied with two crossbars of rectangular or aerodynamic cross-section, made of steel or aluminum alloy, and two pairs of their fastenings to the roof rails of the VAZ 2111.
Installing the trunk begins with choosing a location for the crossbars. To transport long items that protrude beyond the dimensions of the body, place the cross members as far apart as possible, and to transport compact loads, install them closer to the middle of the distance between the axles of your station wagon, approximately above the front of the rear door.
Having chosen the location for installing the crossbars, secure them to the rails with fasteners. Often this operation does not even require a wrench - the mounting screws have their own plastic flywheel and are tightened by hand.

- install Grover washers,
- tighten the screws.
Do the same procedure with the other three clamps. Keep in mind that your DIY trunk is different from a professional one. The top surface of the crossbars is not flat. Eight nuts and eight ends of the screw parts of the clamps protrude from it. This is not a problem if the load that fits between the width of the nuts is being transported. Otherwise, care should be taken to ensure that the nuts do not scratch the surface of the cargo being transported.
Do not forget that your homemade trunk, like any professional one, is limited by the load-carrying capacity of the roof rails specified in the official technical documentation. It is 50 kg. Please note that long items create an additional load moment on the roof and should be transported with extreme caution.
