Today there is almost no owner who does not care about the safety of his car; an alarm system is the best solution. Regardless of the brand of the car and its value, there is always a risk of loss. To increase the level of car safety, new and progressive security systems are being developed. For the practical Lada Largus station wagon, there are quite a lot of offers of such devices on the market.
Here, Lada Largus owners are concerned about a pertinent and fair question: how to choose and independently install an alarm system in your car?
Note that manual installation of a security system in a Russian station wagon is quite possible. The owner will need to resort to preliminary preparation, which concerns not only the car, but also obtaining certain knowledge, because the alarm must be installed correctly.

Well, how is he?
Largus is good. He pleases with the beauty of a provincial maiden who lives without knowing a solarium; and the lack of gloss is more than compensated by the breadth of soul, a blush all over the cheek and a mischievous sparkle in the eyes. Yes, Largus is ordinary. This is a simple, but at the same time modern car. Its advantages increase as you move from nose to tail: it is acceptable for the driver, comfortable for passengers, and luxurious for cargo.
Even though it is a Lada, it does not smell like a Lada, and in the cabin, despite the assembly defects found, nothing rattles or falls off. And my phobias caused by the Volga assembly disappeared. The main thing is that it doesn’t get worse.
Alarm connection points for Lada Largus
How to choose an alarm?
Today's market is able to “stun” the buyer with the widest range of security systems offered. They are differentiated by their price categories and the range of their security functions and capabilities. In any case, the main goal of all systems is to provide a sufficient level of protection for the car from sudden attacks, and not every alarm system is a reliable car protector.
Some types of alarms require inclusion in so-called security systems, whose level of protection is significantly higher compared to budget versions of devices. Here the buyer should determine the needs for protecting his station wagon. If this issue is resolved, then we pay attention to the applicability of the system you like to the Lada Largus. It should be remembered that more complex devices are more difficult to install, so unless you are confident in your own experience, the owner is advised to contact the appropriate center. Installation can also be done by hand; connection points are used for this.
Most systems offered on the market include a standard list of components:
- the alarm itself;
- electronic hood lock;
- immobilizer
Types of alarms for Lada Largus
From the assembly line, almost all cars, including the Lada Largus we are considering, are equipped with standard safety equipment. We are talking about a central door lock and a similar device for the luggage compartment lid. Today's technologies provide an excellent opportunity to arm ourselves with more advanced systems responsible for car safety.
The following types of alarms have become the most popular among owners:
- dialog;
- telematic;
- with the presence of a GSM module.
The designated systems differ significantly in terms of their own effectiveness and operating principle. Some of the devices are characterized by increased sensitivity to even an insignificant breath of wind, while others, on the contrary, will not react to a kick, for example, into a tire.
Of particular note are those devices that provide a stable communication channel between the key fob, located directly by the owner, and the receiver in the car. This type of alarm is more reliable.
Choosing an alarm system for Lagrus
One of the main criteria when choosing a security system is the location of the parking lot. For example, it can be directly under the windows, or located several kilometers away.
In this situation, the range of action becomes especially important along with the type of communication, which can be either one-way or two-way. If you are pursuing the goal of purchasing a reliable device, then you should consider the option with a large number of sensors. When the Lada Largus model is equipped with expensive rims, the presence of a tilt sensor will be among the top priorities in the selection.
When considering a feedback device as a candidate for purchase, you should indulge your own desires and financial capabilities. Here you should ask yourself about the advisability of purchasing a system whose cost is easily comparable to half a car. Perhaps this will surprise only attackers.
It is not recommended to throw away the technical documentation attached to the new alarm, since it will be useful in case of need to reprogram the device.
The batteries in the key fob must be replaced promptly. Here we recommend having several spare products in case of loss, etc.
Self-installation of alarm systems
Stage one
Before directly installing the device on a LADA Largus car, we resort to a preparatory process concerning: an alarm unit, an immobilizer bypass module, auxiliary equipment, a list of tools and fasteners. A detailed study of the documentation supplied with the system will also be required. We forget that the device has certain connection points.
Stage two
We begin disassembly with the steering column casing. Unscrew the screws securing it with a suitable screwdriver. Now we dismantle the decorative trim present on the panel above the pedals.
Stage three
Let's move on to the actual installation of the alarm system. We wrap the cables with insulating tape in such a way as to ensure the ability of the device connection points to respond in a timely manner in the event of an aggressive impact on the body from the outside. This approach can justify the secrecy of the location (behind the cover) of the main module of the system. It will be difficult for attackers to get close to him here.
Stage four
Stage five
The cable harness is pulled into the engine compartment of the LADA Largus through a rubber seal. Using a similar principle, we install the limit switch and siren. The next step is to connect the system with turn signals. Then we proceed to the installation of the door limit switches and the luggage compartment.
Stage six
The security system in LADA Largus has a direct connection with the tachometer, central locking and manual parking brake. Special relays can be integrated into the alarm circuit to prevent the engine from starting during an attack by intruders on the car.
Stage seven
Now let's start programming the alarm function. Here it is necessary to achieve coherence in the functioning of the motor and tachometer. The shock sensor may also need to be adjusted.
Let's sum it up
The owner should decide in advance on the installation location of the main alarm module, after which he can begin planning the procedure for wiring sensors around the perimeter of the body.
Installation, as we have seen, is not too complicated, which allows it to be accessible to most Largus owners, the main thing is to know all the connection points. You should not neglect to study the instructions in detail, which will significantly simplify the subsequent installation process, then the alarm will work flawlessly.
Replacement or repair
To check the condition of the parts, the door lock of the Lada Largus car must be removed and disassembled. To get to the plastic box that hides the core of the device, the handle is removed, the decorative panel is removed, and the wiring is disconnected. To work you need to prepare:
- screwdrivers;
- pliers;
- socket wrench 8;
- lubricant;
- anti-corrosion;
- knife.
Removing the trim
To work with the wiring, you will need to disconnect the contacts on the car box, otherwise a short circuit may occur. It is more convenient to carry out the procedure from inside the car. To dismantle the casing element, the following algorithm of actions is provided:
- Remove the plugs on the handle. Unscrew the three bolts under them.
- Remove the plastic cover.
- Remove the top of the trim panel by unfastening the clips.
- Remove the front shutter glass position switch.
- Dismantle the wiring harness block.
- Disconnect electrical wiring: speakers (if equipped), power windows.
- Unfasten the bottom row of clips to remove the panel.
- Unscrew the handle. Gained access to the castle.
- Unfasten the rods, remove the spring and washer.
- Unscrew the fasteners holding the box.
Now you can unscrew the box fasteners, remove the cylinder and conduct a visual inspection. If the driver comes to the conclusion that there is damage to the mechanism, then it is worth installing a new core. Having the skills, you can try to repair it, but this measure will extend the life of the device for a short time.
Replacing the cylinder or the entire device
Regardless of what decision was made, after removing the larva and before the installation process, it is necessary to treat the internal niche with an anti-corrosion substance. If a new core is installed, it is treated with a lubricant; if a solid device is installed, these actions are not required, then it is inserted into the old box. Next steps:
The bolts are tightened
It is important to make sure that the box is secure. The rods are mounted on hinges
The spring and washer are returned to their place. Wiring is being installed
The operation of the lock is checked.
Installation of the sheathing fabric is carried out in the same way as removal.
Repair options: modification, adjustment, adjustment
You can repair the pins, spring, washer and rods. The process is painstaking and requires skill. Possible actions:
- Removing the pins from the rod end. Stitch.
- Cleaning spare parts from corrosive deposits.
- Installation of spacers between the cylinder and the lock body.
- Tightening the spring and other fasteners.
- Replacement of the washer or spring is done using a flat-head screwdriver.
Individual parts for the Lada are easy to find. Sometimes tuning or adjusting the lock will help. After the device has been inspected, the grooves and pins are thoroughly cleaned. Contamination is a common cause of blockage. If the check shows that the key does not fit into the well, additional lubrication of the elements or adjustment of the internal teeth will be required. The Largus lock of the front left or right door is adjusted using a hexagon. This work is carried out before the complete assembly of the structure is completed. Required:
- Open the door, disassemble the stand.
- Loosen the screws, then fix them at a right angle.
- Change the position of the adjusting bolts by tightening or further loosening.
After each action, it is important to check whether the operation of the mechanism has improved, nothing has changed, or, on the contrary, it has become worse. Based on these indicators, adjustments should be continued. When the result is achieved, the screws are tightened and the casing is assembled
When the result is achieved, the screws are tightened and the casing is assembled.
Installation of central locking Lada Largus
This topic will describe the activation of some standard Largus options that are not activated by the manufacturer (RENAULT). The UCH unit (central electronic switching unit of the cabin) controls the central locking and door limit switches, emergency lights and turn signals, heated rear window and rear-view mirrors, pause of the front wiper, interior lighting when the doors are opened, it also contains an IMMO and a signal receiver from the key remote control.
Today it is possible to easily add two more options, namely blocking the central locking when a certain speed is reached and activating the standard alarm, which will require the help of the DDT2000 program and adding the missing wiring. 1. Activation of the option “Automatic door locking when a certain speed is reached” 2. Activation of the option “Overspeed warnings” 3. Activation of the option “Normal alarm” 4. translation of the “UCH Configuration” and “UCH Parameters” tabs 5. TRAINING (ADDING or REMOVE) CHIP KEYS. 6. UNLOCKING THE DOORS WHEN THE IGNITION IS TURNED OFF. ps to be continued.
Activating the automatic door locking function when reaching a certain speed
1. first you need to connect the signal from the speed sensor to the UCH, which we take from pin 22 of the left connector of the instrument cluster DS.jpg
and using the terminal from the power connector of the floppy disk, insert the 6th contact of the brown insert of the black UCH connector terminal.jpg
2. Next, connect the computer using an adapter to the diagnostic connector and launch the DDT2000 program, where we perform the sequence 1.jpg 2.jpg 3.1.jpg 4.1.jpg
then in the parameters we set the speed threshold at which the blocking will occur 5.1.jpg
3. to enable this option, press the lock button on the instrument panel and, holding it for about 5 seconds, wait for the buzzer to turn it off - you should do the same but with the unlock button
Today, a number of functions have been tested when configuring the unit, namely 1. on/off the key remote control 2. using a key remote control with one button or switching a key with two buttons to operate the central locking from one button, i.e. opening/closing the central locking from the “Close” button Key remote control in a circle 3. switching the “Lock” button on the front panel to operate the central locking from the top button alone, i.e. opening/closing the central lock from the “Open” button on the instrument panel in a circle
4. turning on/off the power supply for the interior lighting 5. enabling/disabling the function of the light when the doors are opened 6. transferring the light from the smooth fading mode to the shutdown mode immediately when the doors are closed
ps to be continued
We are waiting for the continuation.
we continue: 1. for the central locking, it is possible to change the auto-locking time of the door locks if they were unlocked by the remote control of the key and if any door was not opened - the default is 30 seconds, you can also turn this option on/off
2. for the interior light, it is possible to change the smooth extinguishing time (default 30 sec) and the operating time of the lamp if it was turned on manually (default 30 min)
3. for turn signals and emergency lights, it is possible to change the blinking frequency and frequency, respectively, and the tone of the buzzer
4. for heating the rear window and rear-view mirrors, it is possible to change the operating time (default 12 minutes)
5. It is possible to configure the windshield wiper when using the washer, i.e. when you briefly press to turn on the washer, the wiper makes one sweep, and when held down, it makes three sweeps. But I can no longer check this option because my wiper has been switched to a rain sensor
Procedure for dismantling
Let's look at how to remove the Largus door trim step by step:
- Use a 10 key to separate the terminal mass from the battery cylinder.
- Using a T20 screwdriver, unscrew the screw that secures the internal handles, and use it to remove the right and left door trim, carefully breaking all the fasteners.
- Unscrew the protective cap of the nut that secures the windshield wiper at the rear. It is convenient to use key 13 for these purposes.
- Remove the trim, dismantle the cable deck from the windshield wiper, drill out the required rivets using a drill, and remove the wiper.
- Remove the latches and door stops from the outside, separate the cables from the lock drive at the bottom, it is convenient to use T30 Torx for this.
- Using a 10mm replaceable head or a wrench, remove the linings, tighten the bolts and nuts, after first separating the rod from the lock toggle switch.
- Disassemble the additional brake signal by separating the block with cable from the rear window heating element. Now there is no wiring harness on the Largus door or a washer tube on the rear window.
- Unscrew the set of 4 bolts that attach to the body.
- Remove the seal, the handle of the lock limiter, tighten a couple of nuts on the bolts, and remove the limiter through a special opening inside.
Lada Largus covered 136,700 km (and sat for 3 months): detailed report on breakdowns
A year has passed since the previous maintenance. In the spring, of course, I changed the engine oil. I paid special attention to checking its authenticity. The fact is that in an era of crises and all sorts of confusion, the number of counterfeits of popular goods is growing. Therefore, I chose Shell Helix Ultra 5W‑40 oil, which I bought at a branded gas station and immediately checked using the code on the cap through the manufacturer’s website. And I had to do it twice. The canisters have a capacity of 4 liters and 1 liter, and the motor contains five liters.
I bought the original oil filter from a trusted store, and they also offered decent air and cabin filters.
Consumables are becoming more expensive, but what can you save on? I decided to carry out the maintenance not only on my own, as usual, but also in completely spartan conditions - even without a lift or overpass. Someone can do such operations in their country house, someone will find a vacant lot. Reasonably planned work does not harm the environment, and therefore I did it in the courtyard of an apartment building, simply placing the car in front of the transformer booth, away from prying eyes. In Moscow this is becoming more and more difficult.
The old oil was removed from the engine sump by pumping it out through the dipstick tube. To do this, I used one of the devices tested and described by us here. The electric pump pumped out all five liters of oil in a few minutes, which was evident from the level in the five-liter antifreeze container. In this case, not a drop was spilled, and the oil was then handed over for disposal.
To replace the filter, we had to dismantle the fuel rail protection, but this took a couple of minutes. I put a large piece of rag under the filter and didn’t spill a drop either. Well, changing the air purification filter on Largus is a pleasure.
Air conditioning - refilled
Every year the air conditioner “lost power.” The air was becoming less and less cool, although the system was working, as evidenced by the click of the compressor clutch and the control in the button on the climate control unit. The air from the car's deflectors came at a temperature of only five degrees below ambient temperature, and the tube under the hood was only slightly cold. Since I know the history of the car, I am sure that all connections and components of the air conditioning system have not been disassembled or depressurized. There was never any fogging at the system joints indicating conditioner oil leakage. It’s just that gradually, over nine years, the refrigerant has slowly evaporated, because the system even contains seals for moving parts - for example, the compressor shaft.
I purchased a filling hose with a pressure gauge and connectors for connecting to the cylinder and fitting of the car, as well as a cylinder with refrigerant. All together - less than 2,000 rubles, and the installation, which costs about 1,000 rubles, will come in handy more than once. Refueling went well, bringing the desired coolness. The air from the deflectors now has a temperature below 10 °C. The effectiveness of refueling can also be judged by the loss of engine power when the air conditioner is turned on. Previously it was barely noticeable, but now it is very noticeable.
Chassis is ok
I evaluate the Largus' chassis, which is quite simple, at every seasonal change of wheels - no new problems have been found to date. The paintwork is slowly becoming chipped, but there is no major corrosion damage.
Battery - replaceable
After the quarantine in the spring of 2022, the battery, which had lasted four years, died. The current consumed by the on-board network at rest is normal, no more than 15 mA. The on-board Multitronics computer slightly increases energy consumption at rest, taking another 31 mA. There is no additional alarm system that could draw energy on the car. But when the central locking refused to work, and there was less than 1 V at the terminals, it became clear that the battery had reached its end.
Instead of using a new battery, I used the one I had on hand. If you had to buy a large one - 275 mm long - the battery would cost about 5,000 rubles. To prevent such situations in the future, I installed a “Stop Discharge” device, which was tested by the editorial office. Now it will save the battery in unexpected situations.
Other problems
During the period of forced inactivity, the contacts in the windshield wiper mechanism oxidized. Cleaning and lubrication brought them back to life and they have been working fine for a year now. The steering column switch contact also worked perfectly after cleaning it from oxides.
The seepage of a small amount of moisture through the rear side windows that open slightly was eliminated by applying silicone grease.
In the spring, the washer fluid stopped flowing to the rear window, although the system worked perfectly all winter with a good anti-freeze system. I spent a long time looking for the defect: it turned out that a clot of salts had formed at the point where the hoses were connected by a coupling that reduced the cross-section and was located in the area of the left corner of the trunk. However, different liquids may produce sediment when mixed. I cleaned it and the supply was restored.
Largus continues to work for the benefit of the editors. He transports all the goods for the “Behind the Wheel” examinations. We will eliminate minor defects, but we do not expect large ones with good care.

Operating principle of limit switches
The following two tabs change content below.
Frets Expert
An expert on Lada cars with many years of experience. I own a Lada Granta car, I collect cramps based on the Priora.
Sometimes I stay overnight in the garage. My wife is more jealous of cars than of women.
Depending on the configuration, the Lada Granta can be equipped with one limit switch (driver's door only) - Standard equipment, or 4 limit switches - Norma+ and Luxury equipment.
Indeed, many Lada Granta car owners have replaced the limit switches in the threshold with switches in the door lock. In winter, limit switches in thresholds often do not respond to door opening due to loss of elasticity of the rubber cap. Also, sometimes there are cases when the limit switches of a Lada Grant in the thresholds themselves trigger when the car turns sharply, when the door may move slightly away from the body.
Switching to limit switches in the door lock eliminates these problems, and it can be done in-house. This will require additional wiring and plugs.
Removing the old limit switches
The old limit switches in the thresholds are removed quite simply. Depending on the design, they are attached either to rubber antennae or to a self-tapping screw.
In the first case, you just need to carefully pull them towards you, since the switches are held in place by fixing tendrils.
In the second case, you need to unscrew the end screw.
Next, you just need to pull out the connector with the wires, here is the usual “mom and dad” trick. Difficulties may arise due to the connector becoming stuck to the plug, in which case it is necessary to use a “rust converter”.
On all four doors the principle of removing the limit switches is the same. True, on Grants in the “Standard” and “Norma” trim levels, only the driver’s door limit switch is installed from the factory, while the rest have rubber plugs in the thresholds. The same plug can also be used to seal the empty hole from the left front door end switch removed from the threshold.
Only the driver's door switch is installed from the factory.
Above we wrote about the option of limit switches with a self-tapping screw; this is usually done when they want to install limit switches on all doors. In this case, three limit switches are purchased and paralleled to the driver's door to the positive wire, and the negative wire is a self-tapping screw that will be powered from the car body.
Repair of limit switches
This problem dates back to the first Samara, where the quality of individual spare parts was very poor. Owners of nines will confirm that the limit switches there were defective, and here on the Lada Granta, the limit switches were made by the “enemy of the people”. Look what happened to them after three years of operation.
These limit switches can be repaired, but it’s easier to throw them away. It is necessary to clean the contacts on site.
Clean this contact, but given the amount of rust, the effect will not last long
Largus central locking fuse
The central locking (CL) in Lada Largus is controlled by the CEBKS unit (central electronic switching unit of the cabin). One of its functions is to automatically lock the doors while driving. This function does not work normally. Let's figure out how to activate the door locks with your own hands when you reach a certain speed.
Instructions were provided by user oapv from the Lada Largus forum.
Method No. 1
How to open the hood if the cable is broken inside? First you need to get to the location of the lever. If it moves freely and effortlessly, and the cable is not secured under it, the second part must be looked for in the tunnel (drive shell). Usually part of it will be peeking out. Using pliers, carefully grasp its edges and pull the element towards you. The larger the contact area, the easier it is to catch on to the cable.
On some foreign cars, a completely removable mechanism is mounted in the place of the lever. How to open the hood in this case? You will have to completely remove this mechanism from the front panel and find the end of the cable in the resulting gap.
Software activation
Required
- laptop;
- K-Line adapter (link to Ali, price about 300 rubles);
- DDT 2000 program (read the readme file for installation).
Connect the K-Line adapter to the OBDII diagnostic connector.
Start DDT2000 Light (you don’t have to turn on the ignition).
Select the UCH Configuration tab.
Opposite point 5, select the YES (Oui) option. This gives permission to automatically lock the doors while driving.
Select the UCH Parameters tab, where in the first line of the third window you need to indicate the speed at which auto-locking is triggered. Then click the corresponding button in the Envoi column.
ps Lecture is translated as “reading”
Now to enable the mode
To automatically lock the doors when the vehicle is moving, you must:
- Turn on the ignition.
- Press and hold (about 5 seconds) the central locking button on the front panel.
- Wait for a single confirmation buzzer from the UCB unit.
To turn off the mode, you need to do the same with the central locking unlock button.
Let us remind you that we previously talked about activating the standard alarm system on the Lada Largus.

Method No. 2
If the element is connected to the lever, but the latter moves freely and without effort, it can be assumed that the drive has broken in the lock area. How to open the hood in this case? To do this you will have to remove the radiator grille. On domestic VAZs it is attached to plastic latches. And there are no problems with its dismantling. On foreign cars the situation is more complicated. In order not to break the grate, you will have to use a different method here. A long flat screwdriver comes to the rescue. Using it, you need to feel for the entrance of the cable and pull it with a tool. You can get to this place through the grate. But if the dimensions of its holes are small, you will have to get there through the bottom, parallel to the cooling radiator.
We will open Lada Largus in Moscow and Moscow Region
None of the car owners, both domestic and foreign, are insured against accidental closing of the door, loss of keys and suddenly discharged battery. In such cases, you most often have to call specialists. You can also try to open the car yourself. Below are ways to open a Lada Largus without a key if:
- The doors locked spontaneously, the keys remained in the cabin;
- The battery is dead;
- The lock cylinders are faulty or dirty;
- Locks froze in the cold due to moisture that accumulated on the seals;
- The key is lost or broken;
- The alarm went off from the inside and the driver was locked inside the car;
- The car stalled in a traffic jam, the central locking was blocked;
- The key fob is discharged, the car does not open;
- The lock in the glove compartment is broken;
- The trunk does not open;
- The key broke in half in the door keyhole;
- The gas tank cap does not come off;
- The lock of the tank filler cap is broken.
Replacing the cable yourself
If this element is torn, it urgently needs to be replaced with a new one. First you need to remove the old, damaged element. The cable must be pulled out of the special fastening in the spring. To do this you will need pliers or a screwdriver. Then the fastening near the lever is removed. It is very difficult to get to it. For convenience, you can use a mirror. To release the fastenings in the body part, you need to remove the rubber plugs. After this, take the cable out and install a new one.
Revision of TsEBKS
The factory does not send a signal to the CEBCS about the current speed of the vehicle, but the design can be improved. The CEBCS can receive data on the current vehicle speed from a speed sensor (installed on cars until 2014) or from the ECU (since 2014, the speed signal comes from the ABS).
The signal must be sent to pin A6 of the black 40-pin connector of the CEBCS unit (see pinout of the unit). The terminal from the power connector of the Floppy drive is suitable for this.
The speed sensor signal can be taken from three places:
- from the instrument cluster
- from the connector in the relay and fuse box under the hood
- from the airbag control unit
Let's look at the first two options:
1. Instrument cluster. The signal with the vehicle speed data comes via a green wire to pin 22 of the black connector of the instrument panel.
2. Mounting block in the engine compartment. The speed data signal goes along the green wire through pin C5 of the connector (its front part). We connect to it a free thin white wire, taped with electrical tape to the wiring harness at the entrance to the block. The other end of this wire is taped with electrical tape to the wiring harness that goes to the connectors of the CEBCS unit.
Show me the cubic capacity!
Having released the latches, we open the rear doors 180 degrees. Now we pull two plastic flags in turn - and the back of the rear sofa falls forward. Now we put the remaining parts in our hands in place and pull the sling - the sofa moves forward. All that remains is to unlock two more latches, grunt a little and pull the bench out of the cabin.
Then it’s even simpler: the middle sofa easily folds into the front seats - and here they are, the promised “two and a half cubes”! The permitted load capacity of 555 kg allows you to fill this volume with something not too heavy. For example, TVs, gas stoves and bicycles can easily be placed on a flat floor - and possibly at the same time.
Yes, you don’t have to throw the third row of seats in the parking lot, but take it with you - all you need to do is fold down a smaller part of the middle sofa. After loading the bench, there will still be quite a lot of space left inside for luggage.

Installation of the product does not require the creation of analog connections, so interference with standard wiring will be minimal. Useful features of the Pandect X-1900 BT model include:
- intelligent protection against false alarms (the kit includes 2 sensors that allow you to obtain more accurate information about the condition of the car);
- determining the location of the vehicle (built-in modules that receive data from satellites allow you to find out the vehicle’s coordinates with an accuracy of 20 m, all tracks can be tracked using a mobile application or Internet service);
- engine blocking (this function is controlled using contactless radio tags; thanks to this option, a criminal who has entered the cabin will not be able to start the car);
- the ability to control the system using a phone (the user installs a special application that allows you to turn off protective functions from a smartphone, the latter becomes a full-fledged system control tool that allows you to implement all options and make any settings);
- automatic engine start (you can start the engine remotely by user command, engine temperature or timer);
- keyless bypass of the immobilizer (you don’t have to use the car’s standard key to start the engine).
Pandect X-3110
The Pandora Pandect X-3110 alarm system can be controlled using a key fob with a liquid crystal display, contactless tags or a smartphone. The communicator is used for full control and configuration of the system. The advantages of the model under consideration include the following qualities:
- Reliable protection against theft. Provided with an engine blocker that is activated and deactivated by a tag. If the latter is missing, you can open the car and turn on the ignition, but the engine will stop after a while. Instead of a tag, you can use a smartphone with an installed application.
- Automatic engine start. Thanks to the module integrated into the system, the owner can activate the power unit without being in the car. You can set the alarm for a specified time, the desired engine temperature or on-board voltage. When the user-set values are reached, the motor starts automatically.
- Monoblock design. The transceiver is built into the processor device, eliminating the need to install an additional module and run unnecessary cables. The system is integrated into the vehicle's digital buses, which minimizes interference with standard wiring.
Pandora DX-90 B
This alarm differs from previous models at a lower price. This is explained by the absence of auxiliary key fobs and blocking relays in the kit. The system is equipped with a modern control panel with an OLED display, featuring a stylish design and increased range. The model is characterized by an expanded set of functions, security against hacking and low sensitivity to radio interference. All included components consume minimal energy and operate smoothly. Other useful features include:
- Possibility of synchronization with a smartphone. Mobile applications allow you to use your phone instead of a tag and control a vehicle without going online. The range of action in this case does not exceed 70 m.
- Possibility of implementing GPS and GSM modules. By installing these components, the user will be able to send commands from an unlimited distance and determine the coordinates of the vehicle with high accuracy.
Pandora DX-50S
The anti-theft system can be integrated into the car’s digital tires. The kit includes a keychain with a liquid crystal display. The alarm system features the following functions:
- Autostart. The engine can be started from the key fob or according to user-specified parameters. The system analyzes the current time, temperature in the engine compartment and voltage in the on-board network.
- Engine blocking. If unauthorized entry into the vehicle occurs, the engine is blocked in less than a minute, so the attacker cannot leave the crime scene.
- Keyless bypass of the standard blocker. The engine is started without using standard keys. Bypass is performed using software.
- Turbo timer. The function is used to cool the turbine housing.
- Timely response to theft attempts and mechanical impacts. The alarm warns the user about wheel theft, evacuation and damage to the car body. Messages appear on the key fob display.
The security system works correctly at low and high temperatures, which allows it to be used in regions with any climate. Software is regularly released to make alarms compatible with new car models. The update is performed by connecting the head unit to the computer.

The door does not open in cold weather
Most often this happens after washing a car or driving in the rain, when dampness gives way to negative temperatures.
Usually the larva freezes completely in the lock. Sometimes the lubricant in the drive or rod also hardens. Knowledgeable car owners advise warming up the constipation (for example, with a hairdryer) and then lubricating it with WD-40. Moreover, the procedure must be repeated after each significant wetness of the car. In addition, it will also help:
- turning on autostart with constant heating of the interior;
- disassembling the door and adjusting the lock components;
- use any silicone-based lubricant.

Placement of additional modules
The number of additional nodes may vary for different alarm models. For example, let's take the already mentioned Pandora DXL 3500. In addition to the main unit, it includes:
- RF module - placed on the windshield, 10 cm before the nearest piece of metal, wires to the main unit are laid as short as possible, without strong bends;
- status indicator - on the console under the windshield, usually on the left, or in a hole drilled in the plastic; must be clearly visible;
- VALET button - hidden, for example, deep under the steering wheel, near the hood release lever, inside the glove box, etc.;
- magnetic key contactor - not far from the driver's seat, for right-handers on the right, for left-handers on the left;
- relay module and siren - in the space under the hood; Reliable fastening with clamps or screws is required;
- engine temperature sensor - on a bracket near the engine cylinder head or near metal parts of the cooling system;
- temperature sensor in the cabin - anywhere except in places where direct sunlight may fall or heated air from the stove or engine may flow; It is recommended to install it close to the sensor of the machine's own climate system.
Rear door adjustment
You should first check all door gaps (bottom, top and sides). Most often, doors are difficult to open due to incorrect geometry, for example, the upper part of the rear door of the car fits too tightly to the body and drain. To adjust this gap:
- Lower the window completely.
- Close the door with one click.
- Pull the top of the door slightly towards you by the edge.
If there is a need to adjust the bottom of the door, then you will have to:
- Open the door.
- Close the doors by striking the bottom of the door with your palm.
To make the process more clear, we recommend watching a video that shows the process of fitting Renault doors at the Russian plant:
As a result, all gaps between the doors and the body must be equal, and the doors themselves must not protrude or fall into the body. The front doors are adjusted in the same way.
Attention! When adjusting the door this way, do not use force, otherwise the door may be damaged!

Replacement or repair
To check the condition of the parts, the door lock of the Lada Largus car must be removed and disassembled. To get to the plastic box that hides the core of the device, the handle is removed, the decorative panel is removed, and the wiring is disconnected. To work you need to prepare:
- screwdrivers;
- pliers;
- socket wrench 8;
- lubricant;
- anti-corrosion;
The rods are attached to hinges.
Based on these indicators, you should continue to adjust
When the result is achieved, the screws are tightened and the casing is assembled.
