Electric drive: easy installation option

The technique is simple, the only thing needed is to make a rotating plate and a rod for it yourself. The wiring should be routed to the electric lock and connected to a special control unit. When disarming the car, the electric trunk lock will be activated after the fifth door opening button is unlocked.

The entire installation task is based on connecting the electric lock to two wires. You can purchase the part at any auto store. The trunk end must be additionally hidden to prevent water from getting into it. Otherwise, it will periodically short out during rain.

Having entered a similar request into the search, I found scant information that people really put Kalina locks on their nines, after which they forget about all the problems. It seemed to me that I could forget about them too, so I made a list like this in my head:

  1. The lock is from Kalina (as it turned out during the search, you need it from a sedan, not from a hatchback, they are different in design).
  2. The mating part, which is attached to the body. By the way, it fits perfectly on the nine; you don’t have to drill any extra holes. But there are minor nuances that will be discussed further.
  3. Installing a Kalina lock means that the trunk will open only by electric drive (or by a lever from the inside). Therefore, you need to take a kit for the central locking - one gear motor, all the accessories come with it (screws, bar).
  4. For electrical wiring you need a button; it is not necessary to install a relay, since this will only load the entire circuit. But a fuse of 16 A maximum is worth installing. But 8 A is enough.

Then it turned out that you still needed two plastic or rubber plugs - you can pick them up by visiting any auto parts store.

I put it all together, skimped, and only one important detail remained – the mounting bracket. Judging by people's reviews, you need to use a 30X30 mm corner. I can’t find anything suitable, so I make a corner out of the plank and open the door to try everything.

Therefore, if you are tired of a car, then it makes sense to switch to a motorcycle, but in advance you need to find yourself an inexpensive helmet for a motorcycle, since there is no point in buying an expensive one right away, it is better to start with something simple. This also applies to the motorcycle itself.

Another element can be included in this cycle: some of the unburned fuel with solid hydrocarbon particles is recycled and burned again under the control of sensors monitoring the content of pollutants in the exhaust.

The engine performs all these processes at a speed of 1200 rpm at idle. When the throttle is opened, combustion occurs more intensely, the number of revolutions increases and, if the transmission is connected, the car begins to accelerate. To cycle properly, an engine needs three things: reliable ignition, air and fuel in sufficient quantities.   • preparation of the mixture;
  • ignition.

The first option is to saw off one “tongue” from Kalina’s lock. Particularly gifted craftsmen do this without any removal of the lock, right on the spot, using an angle grinder. You have to work very carefully. If you don’t have a grinder, the same steps can be done with a hacksaw.

The second option is to replace the lock. Many car owners installed a trunk lock for their Lada Priora instead of the original one. This option is perfect for those Kalina owners who do not have the desire and/or ability to cut anything. Advantages and options for upgrading car locks

The technique is simple, the only thing needed is to make a rotating plate and a rod for it yourself. The wiring should be routed to the electric lock and connected to a special control unit. When disarming the car, the electric trunk lock will be activated after the fifth door opening button is unlocked.

That is why, when removing the trunk trim of a Kalina hatchback, you must pull the trim from the top: while the “hedgehogs” are easy to replace, the stationary plastic holders are only easy to break. And more about plastic. The bottom line is that the Kalina hatchback has a plastic trim on the trunk lid.

The easiest way to dry the spark plugs is to press the gas to the floor and crank the engine with the starter two or more times. Often, after this the car will start. If this does not help, then for more thorough drying you should dismantle the spark plugs, then clean them, check the gap, and then dry them with a hairdryer or in the oven.

Electric drive: easy installation option

Removing the fifth door opening button is the easiest thing. It is more difficult to seal the remaining hole. This can be done using a special putty. One of the tricks is to process the hole cavity so that the surface becomes as rough as possible.

Of course, all dismantling work can be carried out only after the installation of the electric drive is completed, as well as the installation of the trunk opening button in the cabin. The trunk lock drive and how to install it are all relatively clear. Both the location and the connector of the wires in Kalina are determined in advance for this.

But where to install the button will have to be decided by the owner himself. The two most popular places are the dashboard in front of the gear shift and the driver's door. The first method is convenient because the button can be reached from almost anywhere in the cabin. The button on the driver's door is primarily a convenience for him.

Once the location for installing the button has been selected, it is time to install the electrical wiring. About 4 m of wire will be required. The connection point is located under the rear seat. First of all, check the pressure in the fuel system. To do this, open the hood and look for the cap on the ramp with the injectors. You can see the nipple there - if you press it, fuel should spray out. If it splashes, then the problem is not with the fuel pump.

Another reason is the relay. There is a cover in the transmission tunnel on the passenger side. It contains power coils. To eliminate the malfunction, just knock or warm them up.

If then you need to get to it and check the voltage. If the multimeter shows about 12 V, then the fuel pump is working. If not, then it is worth checking the fuses, as well as the relays.

KZATE 115 Ampere

A 115 Ampere KZATE generator is installed from the factory. Its quality is truly below par. The diode bridges on it are lit “only on the road.” Very poor build quality.

In general, power unit temperature sensors are the most important regulators of an injection engine. There are two of them on it. One is located directly in the cylinder head, it displays the temperature value on the instrument panel.

Based on the results obtained, the control unit regulates the fuel supply - it supplies more fuel to a cold internal combustion engine, and less to a hot one. In addition, it is the control unit that regulates the OZ, influences the ignition of the fuel assembly, and activates the coolant fan if the liquid temperature rises above 100 °C.

Obviously, with faulty DTOZh there will be difficulties in the operation of the motor. However, this applies more to the DTOZH, which provides information directly to the block. For example, if the DTOZH is faulty, it will give false values ​​about a cold engine, although it is already boiling. The supply of fuel to the cylinders will increase, because this is provided by the system. Let's say you drove for a long time, then stopped and went into a store. Now starting the power unit will cause obvious displeasure, since it will take a very long time to start due to data failures and oversaturation.

At the same time, the SOP, which is responsible for the ignition of a fuel assembly that is clearly over-enriched, changes greatly. As a result, the fuel will evaporate intensively, and the concentration of gasoline in the fuel assembly will be so high that the mixture will hardly ignite due to the small amount of oxygen.

Diagnostics

So, to determine the specific reason for the long start-up of an injection-injected internal combustion engine, you should start with a high-quality diagnosis. Usually, they check the compression in the cylinders. Its values ​​must be within 12 atm for this to be considered normal. In this case, there should be no deviations between these indicators in each of the cylinders (maximum - 1 atm).

Then the spark plugs must be replaced. This will have an effect on the engine and it will now start much faster. However, if everything is not in order with the motor, then the normal starting time will last only 1-2 days.

Therefore, high-voltage wires should also be diagnosed. Diagnostics will make it possible to find out whether the cables have a breakdown, which is clearly visible by the spark coming out at night. This is done as follows: the car starts in the dark, at the same time you need to monitor which wire sparks.

Technical regulations for Lada Granta cars

In order to be sure that the car will not fail on the road, you should monitor its technical condition and comply with technical regulations. Maintenance consists of diagnosing vehicle systems and components, identifying and troubleshooting problems.
