Description of the design [edit | edit code ]

The body of the VAZ-2109 is two-volume, hatchback

[2]. The front suspension of the VAZ-2109 is completely independent, MacPherson type. The rear suspension is semi-independent with a torsional transverse beam, similar in design to many other front-wheel drive cars of those years. The VAZ-2109 was equipped with a manual transmission, which included:

  • single disc simple clutch;
  • five-speed gearbox;
  • cylindrical main gear;
  • bevel differential;
  • drive shafts with CV joints [2] .

How many liters is the tank of the VAZ 2109 carburetor

The gas tank of a VAZ 2109 with any engines (1.1, 1.3, 1.5) holds 43 liters of fuel, as indicated in the vehicle’s passport specifications. In fact, very few people pour exactly that much.

fuel tank vaz 2109

Personally, I filled my nine with 47 liters up to the throat. Yes, I know, gas stations don’t top up horribly, but I didn’t come with a dry tank either. I was driving along the highway, there were about 5-7 liters left in the tank, the light just came on. Refueling "Ga...m". Don't think that "Mr. But". But I don’t want to advertise and scold. In general, after 2.5 years of operation, I settled on the figure of 50 liters to the throat.

Engine

The most common fuel tank sizes in cars are 40, 50, 60 and 70 liters. Judging by the volume of the tank, you can tell how big the car is. In the case of a 30 liter tank, we are most likely talking about a small car. 50-60 liters is a sign of a strong middle peasant. And 70 indicates a full-size car.

The volume of the fuel tank would be a useless quantity if it were not for fuel consumption. Knowing the average fuel consumption, you can easily calculate how many kilometers a full tank of fuel will last you. On-board computers of modern cars are able to quickly show this information to the driver.

The fuel tank volume of the Lada 2109 is 43 liters.

One of the main elements of the power supply system for VAZ 2108, 2109, 21099 cars and their modifications is the fuel tank. It is designed to store a certain amount of fuel on board the vehicle. Fuel tank capacity is 43 liters, including a reserve of 4 - 6.5 liters.

On front-wheel drive VAZ cars, the fuel tank is located under the bottom of the car (under the rear seat). It is attached to the car body with two plate clamps. Its filler neck is located in a small niche on the right rear side of the car (rear right fender) and is closed with a screw plug. The neck is connected to the tank itself by a filler pipe. The plug has a torque limiter and a built-in lock. The niche is covered with a steel hinged lid. To access the plug, you need to lift the edge of the lid on one side.

There are two drainage tubes inside the fuel tank. They are connected through a drain hose to a separator, which serves to capture gasoline vapors from the tank. To prevent fuel from leaking out of the tank through the separator, a double-acting check valve is installed on the second separator hose. The valve works in both directions: as fuel is consumed, it allows air into the tank, and when the pressure in the tank increases, it releases air with fuel vapor from the fuel tank. Gasoline vapors, condensing in the separator, are drained back into the drainage tubes and then into the tank. The ends of the tubes are located in the tank on the right and left sides to prevent fuel from leaking out when the car turns. Separator capacity is 7 liters.

A fuel level sensor with a fuel intake is attached to the top of the fuel tank through a rubber gasket. It can be accessed through a hatch under the rear seat. The upper part of the fuel intake serves to connect it to the fuel line and the “return”; a fuel purification strainer is installed on the lower part. The fuel level sensor is a rheostat connected to a float. The sensor is also connected by wires to the fuel level indicator on the instrument panel. When the fuel level in the tank drops to the reserve level, the float lever closes the contact of the fuel reserve indicator lamp, and it lights up on the instrument panel of the car panel.

The fuel tank is made of two halves, stamped from leaded sheet steel. The outside of the tank is painted with black enamel.

Types of fuel tanks and materials of manufacture

VAZ 2109 carburetor engine characteristics
There is no single form and design of fuel storage tanks. To obtain the maximum volume of fuel tanks, their geometry is made complex - and different not only for individual brands, but also for each model. The containers differ in both material and equipment.

Main components of the gas tank

The list of equipment items differs for different vehicles. But most of them are universal and the same for all cars:

  1. Housing – steel, plastic or aluminum.
  2. The neck through which fuel is poured.
  3. A neck cover that may have a lock.
  4. An intake pipe, instead of which there may be a pump for pumping fuel.
  5. Sensor for monitoring fuel level.
  6. Tube and valve included in the ventilation system.
  7. Drain hole or pipe.

The standard set of equipment can be supplemented with other devices. Each model has its own list, which is described in the technical documentation for the vehicle. It is advisable for all car owners to study it in order to avoid mistakes when operating the car.

Design and principle of operation of the ventilation system

When considering the features of tanks of different cars, it is worth paying attention to the ventilation system, which solves several important problems:

  • remove excess air from the tank during refueling;
  • maintain the pressure at atmospheric pressure and avoid vacuum that could lead to tank deformation;
  • maintain a safe temperature inside.

Most modern cars have a closed fuel tank ventilation system. The tanks do not have direct access to the atmosphere - a whole set of special devices are used to let air in. As the vacuum increases, the valve spring is pressed out. Air begins to enter inside until a pressure equal to atmospheric pressure is established inside.

Features of the design of fuel tanks in modern cars

Designers who design fuel tanks consider sealing first. No oil products should leak from the container and no evaporation should escape. Another important point is corrosion protection. You can avoid rust by using the following materials:

  • high-quality steel, which is more often used on trucks;
  • light alloys or aluminum, which can be found on passenger cars;
  • polymers, thanks to which tanks of complex design are obtained.

Plastic tanks are considered the most convenient due to the complete absence of corrosion and lower weight. The disadvantage of plastic is its high permeability to gasoline and the likelihood of leaks. It can be compensated by using 2 layers of polymer.

Problems of the VAZ-2115 fuel tank

The gasoline tank on the VAZ-2115, as in any other car model, is made of metal. This material tends to stretch and compress under the influence of external forces. This is far from the only problem with fuel capacity in this car. Most often, owners of this vehicle encounter the following problems:

  • fuel leakage;
  • incorrect operation of the sensor;
  • design flaws.

The first and last faults are often related. The fact is that in carburetor models a separator is used. This device is necessary to collect gasoline vapors and condense them. After the vapor turns into liquid, it is drained back into the tank. Most VAZ-2115s are equipped with a plastic separator, which over time becomes covered with cracks, melts and becomes deformed. In such cases, it is necessary to replace it with a metal model, which is more resistant to external influences. The injector does not have such an element in its design.

Examples of savings in Moscow

For example, let's calculate two distances:

  1. From Red Square to the Moscow Ring Road and back in Moscow 50 km. How much gas does one save per month of such trips?
  2. From Moscow to Sochi - 1600 km. How much cheaper will it be to fill up with gas?

Real fuel consumption per 100 kilometers

During the operation of the equipment, drivers note a deviation in fuel consumption in a larger direction compared to the factory data. When carrying out certification, the manufacturer takes measurements at the test site, creating the most comfortable conditions. The cars are driven by experienced testers, who are tasked with achieving minimal gasoline consumption while simulating various operating conditions.

Injector

The use of a distributed injection system made it possible to smoothly regulate the composition of the fuel-air mixture depending on the load and temperature of the cooling system. As a result, exhaust toxicity dropped, but gasoline consumption remained the same. A 1.5 liter engine burns up to 10 liters of fuel in urban conditions, and on the highway the car needs 6.5-7 liters of fuel at speeds of up to 110 km/h. The modification with a 1.6-liter unit is characterized by increased gasoline costs in populated areas (up to 11 liters in winter or in heavy traffic jams).

Carburetor

On carburetor cars with a rare 1.1-liter engine, consumption in urban conditions does not exceed 9 liters, on the highway you can keep within 6 liters. The common 1.3-liter version shows similar results in populated areas, and on the highway at 90 km/h and a calm driving pace, the engine requires about 5.5 liters of A-95 gasoline.

A modification with a volume of 1.5 liters consumes up to 10 liters in the city. On the highway at 100-110 km/h the car burns no more than 7 liters of fuel.

Injector

Injector Values. Injector - a linear accelerator usually for introducing charged particles into the main accelerator. Injector – a device for adding power supply voltage over twisted pair PoE technology. Injector - a jet pump for pumping gas or liquid into reservoirs, for example, feed water into a steam boiler, steam injector. Injector – a device for implanting an elastic artificial lens into the eye. Injector - a nozzle - a mechanical sprayer of liquid or gas; fuel engines, as well as parts of the fuel injection system of a gasoline engine, belong to the fuel injection supply system.

Actual tank volume on the 14th model

As mentioned, the manufacturer claims that the volume of the 2114 tank is 43 liters (in some cases you can find a figure of 42.5 liters). And this figure is indeed very close to reality.

At the same time, it is worth considering a number of facts that can significantly affect capacity:

  1. Errors in the manufacture of the tank.
  2. Time of year and temperature.
  3. Fuel system volume.

The first of these factors is usually insignificant. But, as practice shows, sometimes the difference in the volumes of two identical tanks can reach (as a result of low production accuracy) 2 liters. Thus, on some machines the total volume can reach 45 liters (which is extremely rare).

This should also include the difference in weather conditions. In cold weather, the fuel contracts, and in warm weather, it expands. This factor also affects how many liters the tank on a VAZ 2114 can hold (if we take into account the full volume of gasoline that can fit in hot summers and winter frosts, the difference can reach 1.5 liters).

Well, finally, you should remember that the fuel system itself also holds a certain amount of fuel. On average, when the tank is completely empty, up to 2 liters of gasoline can remain in it. As a result of this number of features, the amount of fuel contained in the tank may differ from that declared by the manufacturer, either more or less.

If at a gas station you managed to fill 50 liters of fuel into an almost empty tank, then this can become a good reason to complain about the accuracy of the filling device and the operation of the station itself. Such a large difference in volumes cannot be attributed to any of the above errors.

It is also worth noting that if the vehicle is operated incorrectly and refueled with low-quality fuel, sediment can accumulate at the bottom of the tank, which over time can (albeit insignificantly) reduce its volume. In order to avoid such a situation, the tank should be inspected every few years.

If the warning light on the panel lights up, it means you can fill the tank with up to 35 liters of fuel without fear of it overflowing.

Re: Fuel Tank

in the primer they write 43, but if you pour it directly under the cap, then it’s ok.

At the gas station, fill up the whole tank, then use a pistol to fill it up to the neck, as much as you can see on the column display

Re: Fuel Tank

The tank itself is 40, but the rest of the entire system is usually from 2 to 3 liters, depending on the car. On the third page, the instructions say the entire system with a 42.5 tank!

Any filling is practically not enough. The rest are simply diluted more.

Easy to check using canisters. Take a couple of 20 liters and you will be extremely surprised how much more will fit into them, after filling supposedly 40 liters. )))

Re: Fuel Tank

I’ll write here) Has anyone tried to straighten the tank with a compressor? Will there be anything wrong with the submersible pump?

Basic gas tank malfunctions

The gas tank is made of strong, durable material and lasts for the entire life of the vehicle. However, in some situations it may require repair. These situations are as follows.

Fuel line clogged.

Hole in the tank.

Leak on the welding line of the tank body.

The cause of clogged hoses can be dirt getting into the fuel mesh in the tank itself. The solution in this case is quite simple - periodically wash or change this mesh.

If a hole is formed in the tank as a result of a mechanical shock, then it can no longer be repaired. In this case, the tank will need to be replaced.

If gasoline leaks from the welding line of the tank halves, you can try to seal this place. However, this procedure is very complex and requires appropriate experience.

A gas tank with extensive corrosion cannot be repaired.

VAZ-21093: technical characteristics and device

VAZ-2109 is a domestic Samara-Sputnik, one of the cars of the former Soviet Union, whose production began back in 1987. Then, 4 years later, in 1991, it was replaced by the VAZ-21093, the technical characteristics of which already included a more powerful 1.5 liter engine. In those years, buying a “nine” (as it was popularly called) or a 93 model was considered great luxury. And although the Union has been gone for a long time, 2109 is still in demand, despite the newfangled features of the Priora and Kalina. What caused this popularity?

In order to answer this question, let’s remember what made Samara stand out. After all, at that moment it was impossible to surprise anyone with a 1.5 liter engine. Earlier models also had such capabilities. As they write, the VAZ-21093 car had front-wheel drive, inherited from its mother - a “nine”, a 5-speed manual and only 6 liters on the highway. It seems like nothing special, but if you sit in the cabin: front windows, headlight adjustment, subsequently the appearance of a tachometer, and some happy car owners could boast of central locking.

Please note that panel 2109 does not have a tachometer. Even when it became a foreign car (we are talking about the 2109 Baltic), it did not acquire a tachometer. Photos of the panel for Baltic can be seen in this article.

Pumps and injectors from Bosch: tables

The most famous manufacturer today. Pumps from Bosch are installed on many well-known car models.

The electric fuel pump from Bosch uses a high power rating, which allows it to push fuel directly onto the injectors and into the power plant. The operation of this fuel supercharger is controlled electronically. It calculates the state of the damper, exhaust and takes into account the amount of gasoline in the fuel assembly completely in AUTO mode.

It is noteworthy that Bosch develops unique pumps for this or that brand of car. For example, for our VAZs, units with a capacity of 3 or 3.8 bar are produced. These figures are higher than those provided for by the car, however, many owners install just this option. The Bosch pump in no way affects the increase in fuel consumption, as some believe. On the contrary, fuel consumption is caused by a situation when optimal pressure is not created in the ramp, and as a result, the injectors do not function correctly - they do not spray gasoline, but simply pour it.

Read more: How much does it cost to replace a cylinder head gasket?

Thus, Bosch pumps can have different performance data. It all depends on the specific analogue. Read more in the table, which shows the types of fuel pumps by model.

Most Russians prefer domestic cars to foreign cars, and most of the models were produced a long time ago.

Among modern cars - VAZ-2109. But the vehicle is both technically and morally outdated. Restyling will help give the car a second life.

Many people are interested in where to start. All Russian cars, regardless of the year of manufacture, have a common problem - the level of sound insulation.

This does not apply to those who like to drive slowly, but there are vehicles that accelerate to 90 km/h and above; you have to shout so that the passengers sitting behind can hear the driver.

Dashboard. The next level is advanced car restyling. In this case, the most dramatic changes to the car are coming.

1 — air release hose; 2 — separator hose; 3 - filling pipe hose

First, disconnect the wire from the “–” terminal of the battery.

NOTE! It is recommended to have an assistant remove the fuel tank.

  • Fold back the rear seat cushion and unscrew the cut-out part of the sound insulation.
  • Unscrew the two screws securing the hatch cover.
  • Remove the hatch cover with the rubber gasket.
  • Disconnect the block with wires from the fuel level sensor.
  • Unscrew the nut securing the sensor, under which the ground wire is secured.
  • Remove the wire from the stud.

The remaining operations are carried out under the bottom of the car.

↑ Clamps and hoses

  • Loosen the clamp.
  • Disconnect the hose from the filler pipe.
  • Loosen the clamp and disconnect the air release hose from the fitting on the fuel tank.
  • Loosen the clamp and disconnect the separator hose from the fitting on the fuel tank.
  • Loosen the clamps and disconnect the hoses from the fuel lines.
  • Holding the tank, unscrew the two bolts of the tank mounting clamps.
  • Pull the clamps down while supporting the tank. Bend the clamp on the left side behind the resonator pipe.

↑ Removing the fuel tank from the car

  • Lower the front end of the tank down and remove it from the vehicle. Drain any remaining gasoline from the tank.
  • Unscrew the five remaining sensor mounting nuts and remove the fuel gauge sensor from the tank.
  • Remove the sensor gasket.

↑ Diagnostics and repair of the fuel tank

  • Inspect the tank along the line where the upper and lower parts meet.
  • If you find a leak, pour out the remaining gasoline, thoroughly rinse and dry the tank. Then solder the leak with soft solder.
  • If necessary, glue the torn rubber gaskets on the tank.

You can solder only a thoroughly washed tank that does not contain gasoline vapors. Otherwise, when soldering, the vapors may ignite.

To wash the fuel tank, use detergents: “Labomid”, “MS” or “ML”.

To remove any remaining detergent, rinse and steam the tank with hot water. Dry the tank thoroughly.

↑ Checking the sensor

Connect an ohmmeter to the sensor contacts and check the sensor resistance at three float positions:

  • in the lowest position (empty tank) the resistance should be 315 - 345 Ohms,
  • in the middle position (tank half full) – 108–128 Ohm,
  • in the uppermost position (full tank) – no more than 7 Ohms.

If the resistance is different from the specified value, replace the sensor.

↑ Filter and float

Wash the dirty filter. Shake the float. If there is gasoline in it, then the float is leaking. We recommend replacing the float.

Subject: Fuel Tank

Tell me, what is the volume of the fuel tank of the VAZ 21099 if you fill it up to the very neck? (I've searched the entire Internet and there is no such information)

Re: Fuel Tank

in the primer they write 43, but if you pour it directly under the cap, then it’s ok.

At the gas station, fill up the whole tank, then use a pistol to fill it up to the neck, as much as you can see on the column display

Re: Fuel Tank

The fact of the matter is that they are lying. And no one knows the volume of the tank without a filler hose.

Re: Fuel Tank

The tank itself is 40, but the rest of the entire system is usually from 2 to 3 liters, depending on the car. On the third page, the instructions say the entire system with a 42.5 tank!

Re: Fuel Tank

Any filling is practically not enough. The rest are simply diluted more.

Easy to check using canisters. Take a couple of 20 liters and you will be extremely surprised how much more will fit into them, after filling supposedly 40 liters. )))

Re: Fuel Tank

I’ll write here) Has anyone tried to straighten the tank with a compressor? Will there be anything wrong with the submersible pump?

Joint venture

It is impossible not to mention the term that was often used in those years. These letters (SP) were also used at the plant in Togliatti. This is how Carlotta appeared - a modification of the Belgians, and 9 Baltic - a joint production with Finland. According to official data, the prototype model 93 was modified - 2109, but in the same years one could also find “Carlotta 93” - a modified model assembled on the basis of the VAZ-21093.

This is what Carlotta looked like. A distinctive feature by which it was recognized even in dense traffic is its dual headlights. And not a dummy, as some Russian craftsmen did with the flat headlights of the Sputnik, but precisely 2 pairs of headlights that turn on separately, like on a six.

And this is what the panel of the European Lada looks like (photo above): a different steering wheel, a different backlight, a different appearance, but the main design features of the panel of the ninth Sputnik still remain unchanged.

Price per liter of gas in calculations: CIS - 18.61 ₽.

HBO doubles the autonomous mileage of the VAZ 21099 1990...2004 sedan. Now there is definitely enough fuel for the longest trips.

Certified multi-brand center for installation, maintenance and repair of gas equipment:

Gas Performance Benefits

IN COMBINATION, THESE FACTORS EXTEND THE ENGINE LIFE BY

Gas extends the life of oil and spark plugs and reduces vehicle maintenance costs.

Gas burns a little slower than gasoline, which reduces the load on the piston group and crankshaft, causing the engine to run smoother.

The gas mixes easily with air and fills the cylinders more evenly with a homogeneous mixture, so the engine runs smoother and quieter. The gas mixture burns almost completely, so no carbon deposits form in the pistons, valves and spark plugs.

The octane number of petroleum gas is 103-105, which virtually eliminates detonation of engine parts. This advantage of gas can be especially important for engines with a high compression ratio that consume high-octane (and therefore expensive) gasoline.

The gas does not contain harmful impurities (lead, sulfur), which at the chemical level destroy the combustion chamber parts, catalytic converter and lambda probe.

The gas enters the engine in the vapor phase, so it does not wash away the oil film from the walls and does not dilute the oil in the crankcase.

Savings on fuel are greater than the overpayment on the loan

First payment 0 rub.

Loan term from 1 month

Loan cost 1.6% per month

Loan decision in 15 minutes

Switch to gas and start saving

You will get back the overpaid money for using a two-year loan in the second month of operating the system.

On average, the savings per year when driving on gas is 50,000 rubles.

Save up to 200,000 rubles per year

1 km of mileage on gas is 2 times cheaper than 1 km of mileage on gasoline

1. Select your car

For example: Peugeot Partner, Citroen Berlingo, Renault Kangoo, VW Caddy

2. Indicate the mileage of your car per year

Having extensive experience in operating gas equipment (this is already the 4th gas-powered car!), I can confidently say that AGTS specialists are the best professionals in converting cars to gas in St. Petersburg. no less than 100 percent. The feeling is super, if you have any doubts, I highly recommend it.

This is the second time I've come here. Hyundai Accent is my second car and, accordingly, my second LPG. Just like the first time, I installed Italian equipment from Lovato. It seems to me that it is the best. At least it’s very easy to set up, which can’t be said about other systems. And stability in operation: the settings are the same as they are. In total, I have been using HBO for 4 years now, and no problems. The most important thing is to regularly visit maintenance and immediately correct errors if something is wrong.

For me, LPG is no longer new - I’ve been driving gas for almost 10 years, and I install it on every new car. I think it’s not worth describing all the delights of the equipment, and a lot of things have already been told without me. I’ll tell you better how the installation of gas equipment in the AGTS went. I made an appointment with the guys a week in advance, arrived at the appointed time, and they were already waiting for me. The box is large and well equipped. Two people are allocated for each car, everything is done quickly and smoothly. I stood there, watching them. It is immediately clear that the team has worked well together. One installs the wiring, the other connects the cylinder. It’s obvious that they know their job here: every car is there – and on the day I arrived, it was sold out. Everyone is busy, there is no unnecessary talk, just business. At this rate, they installed the HBO for me for about two hours, probably, then one worker explained how it works, what is connected to what, etc. That is, in addition to the fact that they quickly installed it, they also gave instructions on how to use it and what to do if something goes wrong. This, it seems to me, is just great for those who are encountering HBO for the first time. And I, an experienced gas driver, was pleased to listen) In general, I recommend it!

And a little more separately about Baltic

Strictly speaking, this car is not a joint production. “Lada-Baltic” is a completely separate line, which was assembled in Finland, a European country, for the European consumer. VAZ had to reach an agreement after sales of export cars began to decline. The quality of our transport has not always been stable, and the Baltic project was born just at the time of one of these cases.

The only thing that remained old about the car was its appearance. At the same time, a foreigner can also be distinguished by its design. Firstly, completely different colors, and secondly, the bumpers, sills and window trims were painted in the general tone of the car (this is how luxury cars looked). Thirdly, it was from these models that the Union came up with the idea of using metallic colors. All color schemes of this Lada came from the metallic line. It can be said, fourthly, that pure black color was not presented in Europe. These colors were produced only for domestic consumers. It is also interesting to note that the Finns have gone further than Russia. On the Internet there are photographs of cars produced in Finland with other bodies.

Information - How much does a car weigh?

How much does a starter cost for a VAZ 2109

A car's directional stability and handling are also directly related to its weight. The peak of popularity of large, heavy cars abroad occurred in the 50-60s of the last century. Then the auto industry produced truly gigantic cars. For example, the Cadillac Eldorado modification 8.2 weighed almost 3 tons. Agree that for such a weight, an appropriate makeweight is needed.

But as time passed, it became clear that in order to further develop and improve the most important characteristics of the car, it was necessary to resort to reducing its overall weight.

And if we compare the middle of the last century and today, cars have lost half, or even more, of their own weight.

Plastic, carbon fiber reinforced plastic, light metals - all these innovations have made it possible to make the weight of a passenger car significantly lower.

Of course, for lovers of everything big and heavy, cars are produced that look like steamships that drink buckets of gasoline, but this is rather an exception to the rule.

Specifications

It's time to look at the characteristics of our VAZ-21093. Technical specifications, body type, overall dimensions and other information are presented below.

Apart from the details that are indicated a few paragraphs above, the design of the VAZ-21093 (principal, electrical and other circuits) replicated the VAZ-21099 with a high degree of accuracy, except that it was one of the first hatchbacks in the Soviet Union.

"Satellite"

Those who remember Soviet prices, especially those who owned such a car, will agree that 6 liters per 100 km for a family of 3-4 people was a completely acceptable financial burden. But this “Sputnik” made it possible to organize tourist excursions over long distances.

Rear seats for two children in a family, a spacious trunk, low fuel consumption, plus some bells and whistles that the owners of earlier Zhiguli cars could not boast of - you get the VAZ-21093. We will look at the technical characteristics of the car below, but the entire automobile industry of those times did not have a more comfortable car, suitable for both city and country roads. “Nivas,” “fours,” and “twos” don’t count, because when we folded the rear seats, we got a semi-truck version that was larger in volume than the named models. You can mention model 8, the same Sputnik, but do not forget that the “nine” has five doors versus three for the 2108.

Misconceptions

There are several opinions regarding the specification of the VAZ-21093 model. Technical characteristics: injector, 1.5 liter engine, front-wheel drive, 5 doors, etc. At the same time, other reference literature may indicate other data that includes the same characteristics, with the exception of 1.6 liter engine capacity. But according to the factory specification, all 99, and then 93 models had only a 1.5-liter engine. Yes, there were almost 1600 without a few units, but the specification still classifies them as class 1.5. The batch with a liter engine, which was produced on the basis of the same “mother”, has nothing to do with 93, because it was called 21091.
