Protective film for side pillars and thresholds 100mmx2.5m (black self-adhesive)

✔ 59©. Film tightening of door pillars. Part 1

I already bought a matte film a long time ago, but they only did it today, and then only 50%.
For your help, thank you very much to Maxim, (maxbboy)

Some offered glossy film, but all I had in mind was matte! xD

Well, since it’s in my head, then let’s tighten it up matte.

I decided to do it myself and therefore, the day before, I consulted with the people who were doing this. They warned me that if I remove these glass seals, then I have almost no chance of removing it intact, and if I do, I will have to buy new ones in advance.

But we thought and decided, we won’t buy anything, but we’ll glue them without removing them.

We opened the window and slowly removed the seals; we didn’t have much time to take pictures, our hands were full, but we still managed to photograph something.

The seal was removed as far as possible.

And then they removed this corner of the rear window. (I don't know what it's called exactly xD

) it is held on a bolt in the middle of the door, on the side of the glass.

Before this, the racks were all measured and cut and prepared in advance.

The film was first sprayed with water and began to be adjusted evenly, but it quickly set and stuck instantly. But we also took soapy water with us, they also advised us, but warned that the film would roll around.

They sprayed it on the racks, on the film and started gluing it, carefully adjusted it to the elastic bands, ironed it, and then heated it and smoothed it all out under a hairdryer.

We started right away with the rear pillar, because the rear pillars are easier to glue than the front ones.

The back turned out very well for the first time. Personally, this is my first time working with film, but there is nothing difficult about it if there is a suitable place for it.

Then we moved to the front right door. In the same way, we pulled out the seal as far as we could and glued the film in the same way.

Then they did the same with the rear right pillar.

And finally we got to the driver’s side, still according to the old scheme
