Big throttle on LADA. Does it make sense to install it? Owner experience
Hi all!
In this text we will talk about such easy tuning of the intake system as installing a throttle valve of increased diameter. What does this give us? It allows the engine to pass the greatest amount of air. And the easier it is for him to do this, the greater the output power will be. Let me remind you that the diameter of the stock damper on VAZ 2108-2115 cars is 46 mm. Accordingly, when installing a throttle with a diameter of 52-56 mm on a car, in theory, the power should increase, which we will check later.
What size should I install the damper then?
By installing a throttle with a diameter of 56 mm on the “stock” motor, we will give the motor the opportunity to process air even more easily, compared to 52 and 54 mm, and even more so 46 mm. After all, with the same pressure on the gas pedal, much more air enters through 56 mm than through 46. But comfort in the cabin will be lost, a jerk will appear at the bottom, and you will also need to work more carefully with the accelerator pedal. In general, without a habit, it will be difficult at first.
52 mm is “neither two nor one and a half.” The effect will be practically unnoticeable! Since the difference with the “stock” one is only 8 mm. Money down the drain, so to speak.
It's best to set it to 54 mm, which is what I did. Some kind of golden mean. But this is all theory. Let's move on to practice.
Unfortunately, I myself forgot to measure the acceleration “before and after”. But on the well-known YouTube site I found a video of one guy who was just doing this procedure. At first he had a completely stock VAZ-2112 coupe. Acceleration from zero to 100 km/h was around 11.9 seconds. Then he installed a larger throttle (56mm) and it turned out that the acceleration from 0 to 100 took one second less than before, namely 10.9 seconds.
So, let's figure out what are the advantages of this tuning. Firstly, there are no difficulties during installation; it is installed in place of the standard one without any modifications. Secondly, the response to the gas pedal has become more responsive. Thirdly, low price. Fourthly, this tuning does not require any sports brains or tuning.
Disadvantages of a large throttle:
I personally had troubles with XX (idling speed);
twitching appeared at the “bottoms” (low revs);
the car begins to respond more sharply to small movements of the accelerator pedal, as a result, comfort in the cabin disappears and fuel consumption increases.
Conclusion: this spare part is needed by those who “chase power.” Who cares about horses under the hood rather than comfort? Such tuning will not appeal to a careful driver who is used to driving quietly and calmly.

Why is it necessary to modernize the throttle valve on VAZ-2109, 2110, 2115
Spare parts stores sell throttle assemblies with valves of increased diameter (52, 54 and 56 mm) for VAZ-2109, 2110 or 2115 cars. According to the sellers, by installing such a valve instead of the standard 46 mm one, the car owner will receive significant advantages: the car becomes more responsive to the gas pedal, problems with idle speed disappear, the car's dynamics improve, and this is especially noticeable if you replace the standard air filter with a zero-resistance filter. The main argument that they try to convince car owners is that the engine requires more air to operate efficiently, for which it is necessary to replace the standard throttle assembly with an improved one. They even give figures: the diameter of the VAZ-2109 or VAZ-2110 receiver is 53 mm, and a damper with a diameter of 46 mm allegedly “strangles” the engine.
Many VAZ-2109 and VAZ-2110 owners succumb to persuasion and replace the standard device with an improved one. After this, indeed, the engine works better and the car drives more dynamically. The reason for the improvements actually turns out to be much more prosaic: instead of the old, dirty throttle body, which had long been in need of thorough cleaning, the owner installed a new one. As a result, the engine returned to normal operation, which is perceived by the owners as the promised responsiveness and agility of the car.
Installing a 52mm throttle in a Lada Priora
For a long time I wanted to personally check whether there is any gain from the increased throttle. Because the reviews on this matter are completely opposite, some say there is no benefit from it, others assure that it is absolutely necessary to install it.
Replacing the throttle is a simple and quick operation. You need to unscrew 2 nuts on M8, and rearrange 2 sensors attached to 2 thin bolts each.
the difference is noticeable to the naked eye
When measuring the results, I tried to minimize errors from the weather and changes in the position of related units. I took measurements on the same day, except for the throttle, I didn’t touch other pieces of hardware. I took measurements of the Mass Air Flow and Cyclic Filling on the standard throttle - 46mm, and then on the increased one - 52mm. I decided to take not individual peak values, but average values in ranges of 500 rpm, I think this will be more accurate.
According to the butt meter, there is an effect from the throttle, the car seems to drive faster. BUT…
Judging by the results, if there is an effect from the increased throttle, then it turned out to be “WITHOUT THE LIMITS OF MEASUREMENT ERROR.” The MRV at most points turned out to be larger, but literally within 1% But the CN, for some reason, turned out to be smaller, I cannot explain this, I reduce everything to measurement errors.
As a result, I put back my standard throttle, and with it the car drives softer and smoother. I also stuck in an air filter from Ford Focus2. I'll roll out the firmware, and for now I'll drive like this, with Forward Flow + Receiver + Filter FF2.
PS: Today I stopped by a car shop, saw a rubber pipe from a gazelle, it’s short, I’ve just installed the corner, the filter turned out to be in place of the standard filter, I also put a cut canister on it - it will be like a housing, now the air intake is again from the front of the engine compartment

Mechanical drive
The first models came with a cable drive. When you press the gas pedal, the force is transmitted mechanically.
The Priora throttle body additionally combines a position sensor for this element of the intake system and an idle speed regulator, which sets the crankshaft speed when the throttle is closed, as well as at the time of starting the engine and while connecting additional electrical equipment: headlights, air conditioning, electric heater motor salon It operates electrically. Which supplies air through the valve, bypassing the damper.
Electric drive
Since 2011, cars produced by VAZ began to be equipped with an electronic gas pedal, which led to a change in the design of the Priora throttle valve.
Now the mechanism is driven by an electric motor connected through a gearbox. The idle speed regulator has been removed as unnecessary. The drive is controlled through an on-board computer, which, based on the readings of the damper position sensor, regulates the fuel mixture in the best possible way. The opening size began to depend not only on the accelerator, but also on the clutch and brake pedal. The damper returns to its original position using a return mechanism consisting of a spring.
The electronic drive allows you to maintain a constant engine speed when driving with varying loads, even without driver intervention.
Examples of current prices
Considering that the throttle valve regulates the quality of engine operation, most car owners resort to completely replacing the unit with a new one. This is facilitated by both constant availability on the market and low price. Popular positions include:
- DAAZ 56mm (empty configuration, standard case) – RUB 1,243 .
- Tolyatti sport 2114-1148010-12 (52 mm, reinforced cable return spring) – RUB 1,684 .
- Tolyatti sport 2114-1148010-16 for 56 mm – 1,890 rubles .
- LLC VIE, VAZ 2110-2172 for 56mm (ready-to-install kit) – RUB 1,940 .
- DELPHI, VAZ 21116-1148010 – 6,316 rubles .
- PRO-SPORT 03534-St – 11,500 rub .
Node location
Opening the hood of the Priora, you won’t be able to see the throttle assembly. It is located under a plastic casing that covers the top of the engine. In addition to aesthetic value, it has the function of protecting against a heated valve cover.
After removing the casing, the air supply system will appear. It is a large rubber pipe connected on one side to the air filter box, and on the other to the intake manifold. A Priora throttle valve assembly is installed between them. It looks like an aluminum insert with a plastic black wing in the form of a sector, to which the control cable is connected (in the case of a mechanical drive).
Maintenance frequency
Practice shows that the throttle needs to be cleaned at intervals of 40-60 thousand kilometers. The time when such a need arises can be determined by the following signs:
- Unstable speed.
- Long return to idle speed when releasing the accelerator pedal.
- Difficulty starting the engine after a long period of inactivity. Even in warm weather.
- The exhaust gases contain the smell of gasoline, indicating that the mixture is over-rich.
The manufacturer recommends cleaning every 50 thousand km. Owners of the Priora car name different numbers on thematic forums. Some people do not resort to this procedure throughout the entire use of the machine. Much depends on operating conditions: region, timeliness of replacing the air filter.
Stories from our readers
“Fucking basin. "
Hi all! My name is Mikhail, now I’ll tell you a story about how I managed to exchange my two-wheeler for a 2010 Camry. It all started with the fact that I began to be wildly irritated by the breakdowns of the two-wheeler, it seemed like nothing serious was broken, but damn it, there were so many little things that really started to irritate me. This is where the idea arose that it was time to change the car to a foreign car. The choice fell on the melting Camry of the tenth years.
Yes, I had matured morally, but financially I just couldn’t handle it. I’ll say right away that I am against loans and taking a car, especially not a new one, on credit is unreasonable. My salary is 24k a month, so collecting 600-700 thousand is almost impossible for me. I started looking for different ways to make money on the Internet. You can’t imagine how many scams there are, what I haven’t tried: sports betting, network marketing, and even the volcano casino, where I successfully lost about 10 thousand ((The only direction in which it seemed to me that I could make money was currency trading on the stock exchange, they call it Forex. But when I started delving into it, I realized that it was very difficult for me. I continued to dig further and came across binary options. The essence is the same as in Forex, but it’s much easier to understand. I started reading forums, studying trading strategies. I tried it on a demo account, then opened a real account. To be honest, I didn’t manage to start earning money right away, until I understood all the mechanics of options, I lost about 3,000 rubles, but as it turned out, it was a precious experience. Now I earn 5-7 thousand rubles a day. I managed to get the car buy after half a year, but in my opinion this is a good result, and it’s not about the car, my life has changed, I naturally quit my job, I have more free time for myself and my family. You’ll laugh, but I work directly on the phone)) If If you want to change your life like me, then here’s what I advise you to do right now: 1. Register on the site 2. Practice on a Demo account (it’s free). 3. As soon as you get something on the Demo account, top up your REAL ACCOUNT and go to REAL MONEY! I also advise you to download the application to your phone, it’s much more convenient to work from your phone. Download here.
- The car becomes more playful.
- Problems with idle speed disappeared.
- The gas pedal becomes more responsive.
There are also disadvantages:
- Fuel consumption according to the BC increases and supposedly the readings are incorrect, the consumption has not changed.
Other owners of “ten” cars see the effect only at 16kl. motors.
In fact, the picture described above may be presented somewhat differently. The positive effect that many people notice when installing a larger diameter throttle body is due to the fact that the old throttle body needed cleaning and the engine was not working properly. After installing the new remote control, the motor begins to operate normally, which was presented as a “new breath”. In other words, the car would become more playful and the pedal more responsive after basic cleaning of the remote control.
In addition, after installing a remote control with a large diameter, new problems appear in the operation of the engine that did not exist before. This is due to the fact that the ratio of gasoline and air is violated, and the ECU is unable to correct it. Instead of returning the throttle assembly to the standard diameter, many decide to replace the firmware.
How to clean the throttle body yourself
Cleaning the damper is one of the procedures that is easy to do yourself. It takes no more than an hour.
Work is carried out on a cooled engine. Before you begin, you need to prepare wrenches, Phillips and flat head screwdrivers, and carburetor cleaner. To clean the Lada Priora throttle valve, you need to do the following:
- Put the car on the parking brake.
- Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
- Remove the plastic protective cover from the engine. To do this, unscrew the oil filler cap. Remove the 4 rubber plugs around the perimeter of the casing. Then unfasten the adsorber valve with a screwdriver and move the wires to the side. After removing the casing, the oil filler cap must be replaced to prevent dirt from entering the engine.
- Disconnect the connectors from the Priora throttle sensor and the idle air control.
- Disconnect the cooling system hoses that heat the damper while the engine is running. Before loosening the clamps, you need to partially drain the coolant. Not completely, but only below the level of the throttle assembly. To do this, you need to open the cap of the expansion tank and, placing a flat container under the radiator, unscrew the radiator cap.
- Disconnect the crankcase ventilation system pipes.
- Loosen the clamp and remove the air pipe.
Before cleaning the part, you must additionally remove the sensors from the housing. This should only be done for a power driven unit. As for the electronic gas damper, a control unit is attached to its body, which does not need to be removed. Moreover, when flushing the carburetor with cleaner, you need to make sure that the cleaning agent does not get on the control unit.
Cleaning
Even if the purpose of removing the throttle was to modify it, still do not forget that for stable operation it also needs periodic cleaning. To be honest, there is nothing complicated in this procedure, but it will help the engine run better, which is quite important.
For cleaning you will need:
- short and long screwdrivers;
- toothbrush (soft, or just old);
- cotton buds;
- cleaning agent;
- rubber or cotton gloves.
For cleaning to give the desired result, it must be carried out very carefully. First, you can go through all the cavities with a toothbrush, at the same time cleaning the idle speed control (it must also be removed). Further, more delicate, cleaning is done with cotton swabs. Pay special attention to the area where the throttle valve is located and the place where the XX regulator fits.
Please note that cleaning the crankcase ventilation duct with conventional means is not possible, but it can be easily done using the foot pump available in each trunk. The diameter of the fitting is similar to the wheel one, you just need to add cleaning agent and pump your foot several times.
If you have problems mentioned at the beginning that started recently, cleaning should fix them. If there were problems from the beginning, do not forget about improvements. Sometimes only replacing the throttle assembly helps.
Important addition
When cleaning the internal cavity, it is not recommended to change the position of the Priora throttle valve with electronic gas, since the drive gears can be damaged. The mechanical damper, on the contrary, can be rotated by the drive, completely opening access to the inside. You can also disconnect the damper from the rotation axis. It is secured with two bolts. However, you need to know how hard to tighten it back. If self-loosening occurs after assembly, the bolts will fall into the combustion chambers of the engine. To prevent this from happening, after finishing the work you need to drive 500 km, disassemble the unit again and tighten the damper fasteners.
After assembly, do not forget to add coolant to the operating level.

Priora throttle valve diameter
Some car enthusiasts claim that when installing a throttle valve of increased diameter, the car's power increases by several percent. And if you also install a “zero” along with the “throttle”, the effect will be much better. In this article we will try to figure out whether there is any sense in a throttle valve with an increased diameter and why it is installed?
Let's first understand the theory of why an enlarged throttle valve is installed. The size of the standard throttle is 46 mm and is considered the narrowest point in the air path of the car. And if you install a throttle with a larger diameter, the passage opening will increase, and accordingly there will be a greater flow of air, which means the engine power will increase.
There are many options for oversized throttle bodies on the aftermarket tuning market, from “52” to “58” sizes. It all depends on the purpose of its installation. For example, on a standard motor without significant modifications, it makes sense to set the throttle to “52 mm” or “54 mm”. But more or “58” is used only for sports engines with increased engine displacement.
If you put a 54 throttle on a standard engine, it won’t get better, but it’s quite likely to get worse. Since when installing an increased throttle, you will need to work more carefully with the gas pedal, because if earlier, when you lightly pressed the gas, the throttle valve opened by 10-15 percent, then with an increased throttle it will be by 20-25%. And this will lead to jerking at low speeds!
Increased throttle only creates the illusion of increased power, when you have to put less pressure on the gas pedal and any response becomes sharper. Although some drivers may like this effect.
The increased throttle valve came to us from motorsport, when it was installed on sports cars not at random, but based on the performance of the car. First, the engine is made, power indicators are taken from it, and if there is a lack of air entering the engine, an oversized throttle valve is installed. If you install it on a standard engine, then it will be a waste of money. After all, the air supply with a standard throttle valve size is quite enough for a standard engine.
If we are talking about increased throttle, then we should not forget about such an operation as flushing the throttle valve. During operation, dirt accumulates on the throttle, which over time leads to worse response to the gas pedal. Even after the standard operation of flushing the throttle, the car begins to drive better, which I personally tested in practice.
Maybe then the effect of an increased throttle valve can be explained by the fact that instead of a dirty valve we install a new and clean one? Then, before buying a new large throttle body in a tuning store, it’s better to first wash the standard throttle body from dirt. This operation will not take much effort and time, you will only need to buy a can of “carburetor cleaner”, remove the throttle and rinse it thoroughly. Never use WD-40 to flush the throttle body!
No matter what anyone says, the car literally drives better after flushing the throttle body. This is not surprising, especially if no one has washed it before, and dirt has accumulated there.
One thing can be said about the “nulevik” or zero-resistance air filter; it is certainly a good thing if it is installed correctly. For it to work properly, you need to make a cold intake, otherwise it will “snatch” hot air right from under the hood. In this case, a standard air filter that takes air from a low point under the hood is preferable.
If you want to install a zero, then do a cold intake. This is easy to do, as the most affordable option - take an aluminum corrugation for 80-100 mm air ducts, attach one end to the air filter housing, and the other at the point where the air will be cooler. As a rule, this is far from the car radiator, closer to the wheel.
It is important to remember that when installing a cold intake, the main thing is not to do any harm, so that dirt does not get into the engine along with the air, otherwise your “cold intake” will play a cruel joke on you when after some time you have to overhaul the engine.
From my personal experience, I was convinced that installing an increased throttle valve and “zero” gives a good effect. There is greater sharpness in the operation of the gas pedal, and you feel more confident when overtaking. But this effect is so small that it is not worth talking about some mythical percentage increase in power. Especially about improving the car’s acceleration time.
So, if you want to increase engine power, then start boring the cylinders or installing sports camshafts, and leave the increased throttle and zero gear for the end.
When a car enthusiast thinks about tuning an engine, in most cases he expects to slightly increase its volume, modify the cylinder head and install a sports camshaft. More daring ones install a turbocharger or a four-throttle intake system.
To get a noticeable increase in power from the throttles, you need to install an overhead camshaft. The throttles should not impede the movement of air flow before entering the cylinder, and the main benefit from them is required at high engine speeds, when the standard receiver can no longer cope. Here it is very important to correctly approach the precise weight distribution and lightening of the connecting rod and piston group. After all, at a crankshaft rotation speed of about 8000 rpm. Every unbalanced gram can cause the entire system to fail. For better performance, you will have to change the exhaust system. Ideally, enlarge the intake and exhaust ports in the cylinder head and install larger valves. If this doesn’t scare you, then it’s worth studying the four-throttle intake in more detail. Therefore, we will first consider existing systems.
On conventional cars, the intake system includes the air filter, throttle body and intake manifold. The throttle valve allows air to enter the engine cylinders. Air intake occurs in a certain sequence, depending on which cylinder is currently working for intake. This type of intake manifold is used on serial fuel-injected cars. What is important here is the length of the intake pipes of the manifold, on which the operating mode of the engine depends. Long intake pipes improve performance at low and mid-range speeds, while the use of a short intake pipe leads to increased power at high engine speeds.
The figure shows the design of a conventional intake manifold. Its main disadvantage is that air enters the first cylinder faster from the throttle valve. The amount of air is also proportional to the distance from the throttle, so much less of it enters the last cylinder.
In high-speed engines, a “can” type receiver is used, which is equipped with short pipes inside (“megaphones” or “diffusers”), which is clearly visible in the figure above.
At high engine speeds, it reduces air vibrations and leads to an increase in cylinder filling. Unfortunately, it also has the same disadvantages as the intake manifold. Therefore, it is mainly used in turbocharged engines and when it is necessary to combine all the intake ports.
The ideal option for the engine is a four-throttle intake. In this version, each cylinder is equipped with an independent throttle valve, which eliminates the system from resonant air vibrations that occur between the cylinders during intake. At the same time, throughout the entire speed range, from idle to maximum, the engine operates much more stable.
In VAZ cars with sports engines, a four-throttle intake or, in common parlance, “pipes” is installed, which provide separate air intake. Moreover, they are united by a common channel for the vacuum brake booster, absolute pressure sensor (MAP), fuel pressure regulator (FPR) and idle air regulator (IAC). Please note that when installing a four-throttle intake, air calculations are taken not from the mass air flow sensor (MAF), but from DBP and long-term measurements of engine air flow under different operating modes. So installing a four-throttle intake is not as simple as it seems from the outside.
Four-throttle intake "TEAM80"
The TEAM80 four-throttle intake system is designed for installation on 16-valve engines manufactured by AvtoVAZ. This intake is the best alternative to a standard intake manifold, as it ensures optimal transfer of the fuel mixture to the engine.
There are versions for 8 and 16 valve engines of front-wheel drive VAZ models, as well as for the “classic” engine. A distinctive feature of the throttles is that the throttle module is covered with an air collection box of maximum volume (similar to a sports receiver). This allows you to install the unit without modifications to the body (with the exception of installation on Samara and Samara-2 with a 16V engine) and use one standard “zero”. The box also allows you to store the mass air flow sensor in the system and facilitates the connection of the IAC.
A quad-throttle intake results in a shorter intake tract, reducing the number of turns. As a result, we get a lighter draft of the air mixture into the engine cylinders, which means that the efficiency of the VAZ engine noticeably increases, and its power and torque also increase. The intake “pipes” are made of durable metal, which allows the use of this type of intake manifold on cars with early ignition. Explosions in the intake tract will not lead to residual deformations of structural elements.
The system is designed in such a way that all four throttle valves are actuated by one coaxial mechanism with a standard cable fastening. On the opposite side of the “control wheel” a standard throttle position sensor (TPS) is installed. The TEAM80 four-throttle intake is equipped with a pipe that connects all four cylinders, which ensures the operation of the vacuum brake booster.
Four-throttle intake "PROSPORT"
The PROSPORT four-throttle intake system is available in the following versions:
Multi-throttle units "PROSPORT" are a "budget" alternative to chokes "TEAM80". Their design is based on standard VAZ 2112 throttle pipes. All four dampers with a diameter of 46 mm are united by one external axis and are driven using a standard throttle cable mount located on one of the throttle pipes.
As in the case with throttles from, the vertical design of the four-throttle intake system does not require any modifications to the body for installation (with the same exception for installation on the 16-valve Samara and Samara-2). However, to install a horizontal system, it will be necessary to carry out certain work aimed at ensuring the necessary space and direct air entry into the “pipes”. As a rule, for these purposes the standard cooling radiator is replaced with another model that is more suitable in size. The radiator frame may also need modification.
MD tuning stands for throttle modernization. There are quite a few ways to modify the throttle assembly, but this article will discuss the most popular scheme proposed by the American engineer Ron Hutton. According to him, correct MD tuning can increase engine power and reduce fuel consumption by up to 25%.
Types and prices
In total, three modifications of throttle valves are offered for the VAZ 2114 from 2001-2013. These include:
- Original mechanical ones with a damper diameter of 46 mm - from 990 rubles . (without sensor).
- Mechanical with an enlarged damper of 52, 54 or even 56 mm (increased engine performance) - from 1,240 rubles .
- Electronic 46 and 52 mm for 16-valve cylinder heads - from 1,700 rubles .
- Non-original 4-throttle intake (comprehensive replacement of the standard intake system in order to highly saturate the fuel-air mixture and increase torque) - from 4,300 rubles .
DIY throttle tuning
The price of MD tuning at a service station is from 3,000 to 7,000 rubles. As the experience of VAZ and LADA owners shows, it is possible to correctly modify the throttle assembly (CS) yourself, without having any special knowledge or precisely verified drawings. The only special tools you need are a 6 mm spherical cutter and a drill.
- Remove the throttle assembly.
- Make two recesses around the damper (approximately 2-3 mm, no more than 5 mm), as shown in the drawing (great accuracy does not matter).
- Remove burrs with fine sandpaper.
The process is also shown in the video:
The process itself is not complicated and will not take much time. The advantage of MD tuning is that there is no need to flash the electronic engine control unit.
Correction of a factory miscalculation
It is quite common for a throttle assembly to come out of the factory with something that cannot even be called a defect, but can still be attributed to design errors. In theory, air should flow into the space behind the throttle, for which a channel of approximately 2.5 mm is specially made.
But the whole problem is that this channel was pressed against the wall of the receiver, thus blocking the possibility of air flow. A slight modification of the throttle assembly can help in this case.
Bored channel for air flow in the throttle
To do this, just take a file and use it to make a small groove in the indicated place. 2 - 3 mm will be enough. But before doing this, it is necessary to remove the throttle.
On a VAZ 2110, the throttle assembly is removed in the following sequence:
- Disconnect the connectors of the sensor that regulates the position of the throttle valve, its drive cable and the XX regulator;
- We partially drain the coolant;
- Next is the removal of the air hose located on the body of the mass air flow sensor. Why do you just need to loosen the clamp;
- We also loosen the clamps: where the throttle pipe is attached to the air hose; where the hose of the 2nd crankcase exhaust circuit is attached to the cylinder head cover pipe. We remove the connected hoses - the air and 2nd crankcase ventilation circuits;
- Having loosened the clamp, remove the hose of the 1st crankcase gas exhaust circuit from the throttle assembly fitting;
- Having loosened the clamps, we remove the hoses supplying and discharging coolant;
- You will need a wrench with a 13mm head, with which you need to unscrew the nuts securing the throttle assembly to the receiver on a VAZ 2110;
- It is now possible to remove the throttle assembly from the studs;
- It remains to remove the sealing gasket and, if your VAZ 2110 has a system that traps gasoline vapors, disconnect the hose for purging the adsorber.
Even if the purpose of removing the throttle was to modify it, still do not forget that for stable operation it also needs periodic cleaning. To be honest, there is nothing complicated in this procedure, but it will help the engine run better, which is quite important.
For cleaning you will need:
- short and long screwdrivers;
- toothbrush (soft, or just old);
- cotton buds;
- cleaning agent;
